The MeisterR ZetaCRD coilovers are designed for fast road and occasional track day use. Engineered to reduce body roll while providing compliant handling. Damping and ride height adjustable gives you full control over the vehicle suspension setting for the road or on the track.
ZETA is the symbol for "damping ratio", a measurement describing how oscillations in a system die down after a disturbance. The ability to control oscillations is the most important function of a suspension system and it is the concept that the ZetaCRD coilovers are build upon.Brian's Feedback: MANY customers asked us to try them. The upside is lots of BIG VALUE here, good quality springs and anodized everything and top mounts. We drove these hard in our NC Budget Racer Project. Ride is firm on softest setting to full stiff and cracks in pavement are sharp even on the soft settings when these are fresh from the box, but they break in nicely and get reasonable on ride for the 7kg/5kg spring rates and will charge a canyon or autocross reasonably well (note we tested 7/5 but Meister has since changed spring rates to 6/5 on these). If serious about autocross and track jump to our higher rate 10kg/6kg kit. No dual flow valve like the much higher cost Ohlins to mask the impact of track curbs and real world potholes but just half the money here too, lots here for the low cost. Not DOT or TUV approved, they come marked 'For Off-Road Use Only'.
Fantastic product. Installed myself no difficulty with the aid of YouTube but time consuming given 1st time round. Handles like a totally different car and lowered to 12 1/2" from mid hub to center of fender all sides from 14". Great purchase. Brian and crew thanks for your help and advice. Mark
Relatively easy to install (had access to a lift). Quality appears to be quite nice. Good street ride with the fronts at 19 clicks back from stiffest, rears at 23. I bought the adjustment extenders for the rears; those are nice. Lowered the car to where I wanted it and I'm pleased with the look and handling.
Just installed these coil overs as well as the front and rear progress sway bars. The car feels much more tight. Almost no body roll. The coil overs offer a very pleasant ride just a bit more stiff than the OEM coils. Very pleased so far. Still needs more testing
This is my 3rd set of coils purchased and the 3rd time is the charm. I installed these on Wednesday night, ran her a bit to make sure they settled, next morning straight to shop for alignment and new tires. Using my +45 17s on Falken 235/40-17. (Should have went 245). Saturday morning drive 4 hours to Tail of the dragon. Run a few times on those 318 turns in 11 miles with great satisfaction and enjoyment. I really have been enjoying how my NC feels and handles compared to previous coils. Highly recommend for the money. If dedicated track NC, would suggest the stiffer option.
