These quilted trunk underliners fit to the underside of your NC's trunk lid. They give a nice classic touch to the trunk area and complete the look with your other CarbonMiata quilted pieces.

Brian's comments: plan on buying some high temp 3M velcro to help it stay up, none included with the item though we have suggested already that CarbonMiata add such.

CarbonMiata Quilted Trunk Underliner (NC) - Black/Red
Not sure this does much good. No installation instructions come with it and the trunk is recessed and so it is hard to use velcro to attach it. Save your money and put $50 into sound deadening tiles and line the trunk.
This is a good quality product that looks good. Other local club members have asked about it. There were no installation instructions and the included hardware made no sense to me, so I just used several strips of 1" industrial strength velcro.
Previously I purchased identical floor mats which are great, very large, form fitting, cover the entire floor area and more. This trunk cover is a poor value compared to the floor mats. It's a fraction of the size, is just plain flat with a slot for the trunk latch and costs just as much as a single floor mat. Comes bare: no instructions on how to attach it and no hardware, sticky tape or Velcro. How's it supposed to hang there, by magic? Pondered sending it back but luckily my floor mats came with sticky tape and Velcro that was unused so I kept it. Not sure it will stay hanging with only Velcro. CarbonMiata designers/engineers are cheap and lazy I guess!
