Coilovers are usually our first suspension mod for preparing any ND Miata for speed, whether planned use is canyon driving fun, or autocross and track. Our Ohlins Coilovers are famous for speed WITH comfort thanks to their unique Dual Flow Valving ('DFV'). That DFV advantage allows us to cut across the rumble strips at famous tracks like Laguna Seca Raceway and in the real world that secondary DFV pathway opens instantly to absorb sharper impacts from potholes. The result is speed with comfort and control and all that adds up to driver confidence at the limit and beyond. Ohlins shown here our Supercharged ND at Laguna Seca Raceway.
Miata coilovers are the key to improved handling and looks! Wtih Miata coilovers we can get the gap we want to the tires and we add roll resistance that enables use of more aggressive Miata wheel and tire packages. Miata coilovers also get us access to much needed additional camber, which enables a performance alignment for street customers and the extra camber needed to tuck more aggressive Miata wheel and tire combos under the fender lips. One feature of Miata coilovers is the adjustable perch height, which puts YOU in control over final heights and enables you to change your mind on final heights as needed as you gain experience with your setup. The threaded body means that the outside of the shock tubes are threaded like a bolt and this allows the threaded spring perch to be moved up or down to fine-tune the ride height. Want it level? You can do it. Want some rake? You can set whatever height and rake you want. Miata coilover height control also enables those racing the Miata to properly corner balance the car. We start ND Coilover customers generally at 13.25 front height, 13.5 rear (measured center of wheel up to fender lip).
