Our favorite Miata sway bar....Racing Beat-designed Miata sway bars reduce chassis roll in turns and increase your Miata's sensitivity to steering inputs, thereby improving maximum cornering power. Substantial engineering effort, select steel alloys, and precise heat-treating processes are combined to produce a great product.

BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES: The diameter of the rear bar is 5/8-inches and weighs 3.5 lbs. Match this bar with either a front solid RB sway bar or a tubular. All other things equal the choice really comes down to your preferences in balance.

Drivers who prefer the Miata to rotate easily generally match the solid rear with a solid front. The tubular front sways are slightly higher rate and drivers preferring a late brake or trailing brake style of driving generally prefer the feel they get matching this solid bar with a tubular front sway.

NOTE that balance also changes when your Miata is severely lowered. If you have lowered your Miata 2 inches or more then we usually find that Miatas so low rarely need a rear sway bar upgrade for proper balance...even with a big tubular front sway bar installed!

Therefore, if lowered 2 inches or more our suggestion is to do the front bar first and check the balance before adding the rear bar. This Racing Beat Rear Solid Miata Sway bar is 3.9 times stronger than stock.

Racing beat sway bar is hard to beat! A necessity for spirited driving

I found a bent factory 11.2mm rear sway bar and decided to swap it out. This bar has has locks to keep the bar from sliding sideways in the bushings.

It was a huge improvement over my old bar. The car's rear end will track more predicatively and consistently. The car is factory power and shocks.
