DESCRIPTION
Soft bump stop, comes 76mm, can be trimmed all the way down to 36mm if you want. Some NC stock class autocrossers will trim these down to precisely 60mm, which is the limit under stock class rules and effectively raises your spring rate because you are using them with every turn.
As used in some of our GWR bump stop kits but here sold individually so you can mix and match as you want. Can be used front or rear on all Miatas, with all shock choices we offer (also can cut in half and use smaller diameter part at one end and wider/higher rate half at the other end of the car).
NC 2006-2015 Recommended bumpstop combinations:
SPORT for LOWERED 06+ MX5s: 36mm front, 58mm White rear
SPORT for NON-LOWERED 06+ MX5s: 58mm Red front, 58mm White rear
COMFORT for NON-LOWERED 06+ MX5s: 58mm White front, 76mm Red rear
STOCK Class Autocross 06+ MX5s: 58mm Red front, 58mm White rear, AND Racing Beat front sway bar
If your MX5 is lowered by more than 1.5" then you are in the LOWERED category. The Comfort combination uses longer bumpstops that engage in a softer manner than the shorter bumpstops used in the Sport combos. The sport combinations allow for more free suspension travel before you hit the bumpstop, but they are a bit firmer than the Comfort option. All of our bumpstops ride better than the factory bumpstops.
