442 Coilover is Feal's motorsport double-adjustable monotube damper assembled and custom valved by Feal in the USA. Feal utilizes high quality Penske external reservoirs in the 442. The external reservoirs allow additional stroke in the shocks and cooler shock oil operating temperatures for consistent performance over long periods of racing. Intended for road racing, autocross, and other tarmac motorsport applications. Careful work and countless hours of tuning have gone into providing excellent performance and ride quality. The double adjustable shock allows you to fine tune the rebound and compression characteristics of the shocks separately.
Unlike other coilovers, Feal's Road Race coilovers ship with YOUR choice of spring rates and valving tailored to your spring rates. If you do not know what spring rates you want, give us a call and we can work out the right choice for your car based on tires, weight, sway bars, etc.
Comes with 24" long hose length to the remote reservoirs unless otherwise specified. Before ordering, plan a location to mount the reservoirs and measure from the base of the shock body to that location to make sure that is enough hose length. Be sure to add a few inches to be safe. Your coilovers can be built with longer hose lengths if needed with no additional charge, just specify length needed at the time of your order. Note that the hoses exit the bottom of the shock bodies pointing IN towards the centerline of the vehicle.
These are a Special Order part. Please allow at least two week lead time for your 442 Road Race coilovers.
Comes standard with extended height top hats in the rear for increased shock travel - crucial for the NA and NB and often an extra cost item in other coilover kits.

Feal suspension is located in Southern California for services such as rebuilding and revalving and are easy to handle with fast turn-around times.
SWIFT Springs are the best in the industry. All Springs are not created equal! Swift produced a new material for coil springs: a proprietary steel alloy they call "HS5.TW". Swift springs offer the lowest weight, most consistent spring rate throughout the stroke, the fastest reaction speed possible, and the lowest coil count among the competition (no coil bind issues here!).

NOTE: 2001-2005 Miatas have reduced control arm clearance in the front. There is a small chance of contact between aftermarket coilovers and the control arm on these years. Check out our forum for details and solutions.
