PART NUMBER: 61-2877
DTC-30 ( W Compound Code):
BDTC Stands for Dynamic Torque Control. DTC pads offer consistent feel and bite with smooth release and torque control characteristics.
The DTC-30 is the little brother to the popular DTC-60 track pad. The DTC-30 offers good friction even when cold, making it suitable for autocross and light track use, and it offers peak friction levels higher than the Porterfield R4. The DTC-30 can handle up to around 1,100 degrees F. That makes it suitable for light-duty track use (novice-level drivers and those on standard street tires).
Intermediate-level and up drivers and/or those on "Extreme performance summer tires" or better should look to the DTC-60 for a pad that can handle the more extreme temperatures that are associated with hard track use.
After my HPS pads were done, I tried these as I was doing more track days than autocross.
They do have decent cold bite for street driving, and I actually liked them for autocross because they really bite hard. That's fine on at autocross, but on track there is no modulation and easy lock up. On the plus side, no fade at a track day, they actually improve as they get hot.
