Direct from Wilwood, this race-oriented front big brake kit features forged Dynapro 4 piston calipers and heavy duty 72 vane "Spec-37 Iron" rotor for a race-oriented version of their popular 11" big brake kit.

*** Does NOT come with brake fluid. You can order that separately on our site. Several great options: Wilwood 570, Motul RBF600, or AP Racing R2. If you are doing just the front brakes and careful with how much fluid you use, you can get away with one bottle of fluid, but we recommend two bottles so you can flush the whole system.
This kit is configured for dedicated road racing on the 1990-2005 model year Mazda MX-5 Miatas. The four piston Dynapro calipers used in this kit feature a forged aluminum body with a Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized, medium gray color finish. Hard anodizing provides superior wear resistance in the piston bores, and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion throughout. Thermlock pistons are used to reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance, and to extend service life by decreasing temperatures in the caliper body, fluid, and seals. Internal damper springs and controlled retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish. The caliper piston volumes are sized for compatibility with OE power brake boosters and master cylinders. Spec37 alloy, GT competition series 11.00 diameter 72 vane rotors are paired with weight saving forged aluminum hats. Unsprung and rotating weight are minimized while providing high cooling efficiency and rugged durability with thermal stability in sustained high heat competition. Mounting brackets, including all premium grade fasteners, secure the calipers in the stock location, without modifications. This race winning system is completed with high temperature, high friction, endurance compound BP-30 race pads. Stainless steel braided flexlines are included in each kit to complete the installation.
Clears most 15 inch wheels but NOT ALL 15 inch wheels, does NOT clear our helium or Enkei RP-F1 15x7 wheels. IF in doubt about wheel clearance, email us for the template.
