Lightweight fiberglass race trunk in the OEM shape by CCP Fabrication for the 90-97 NA Miata.

This is a RACE trunk. Made for those who want the lightest trunk lid possible for their race car. One should not expect OEM fitment. Duplicate of original shape but a fraction of the weight. Hand laid fiberglass with white gelcoat.
"Street" Version: Has OEM-like structure on the underside with embedded nuts to accept OEM hood hinges and latch striker. The street version can be had with a hole cut out for installing the OEM 3rd brake light, or with no hole cut out. Approximately 5 lbs.
Race Skin Only Version: This is the lightest possible option. It is the top side only, with no structure underneath for hinges or latches. Requires the use of hood pins for mounting, like our aerocatch flush hood pins or similar. This version is not offered with a cutout for a 3rd brake light. Approximately 3 lbs.
CCP constructs their body panels with hand laid fiberglass over a white gelcoat that is ready to paint. The molds release a glossy white panel, tempting to forgo painting, but require painting (or vinyl wrap) to maintain integrity as gelcoat does not contain UV protection.

WILL-CALL OPTION: Customers in Florida can opt to pick up the part at CCP's shop in Port Richey, FL when it's complete. For that option, just include a note with your order and we will refund the shipping charge back to you after you place your order.
