DESCRIPTION
The Progress rear anti-roll bar dramatically improves handling in two ways. It minimizes the traction-robbing body "lean" that rolls part of the outside tires off the pavement, which means more traction. And Front Wheel Drive cars like the MINI Cooper tend to understeer in stock form due to their front-heavy weight balance and because the front tires are doing two jobs; cornering and acceleration. Stiffening the rear sway bar makes the car "rotate" better, resulting in a more neutral handling balance with less understeer. This sport-tuned anti-roll bar replaces the skinny OEM rear sway bar and rubber bushings with a larger diameter (stiffer) alloy steel bar and polyurethane bushings.
Fits all 1st Generation Mini Coopers; supercharged and non-supercharged, hatchback and convertible.
-Less body roll and less understeer means more traction, faster cornering speeds, and increased driver confidence.
-Polyurethane bushings produce crisp response on turn-in. Progress Anti-roll bars are cold-formed in-house using custom-built precision bending equipment. Laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit that is more durable than alternatives used by some other choices.

More roll stiffness means less body "lean", and the tires stay flatter on the pavement (larger contact patches). The result is more grip and added driver control!
