DESCRIPTION
This front bumper replicates the look of the later Gen 2/R56 Cooper S bumper, but is a direct fit on the Gen 1 MINI Cooper. High quality FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic). this is for the single front bumper piece only.Fits all 2002-2006 MINI Coopers; R50, 52, and R53.
All fiberglass parts may require final finish work by a body shop priot to paint. Installation hardware is not included.
How to choose to finish off the bumper openings is up to you. Weather resistant aluminum mesh is provided for the center opening only. You can bond that mesh into the bumper, or you can source either an OE R56 Cooper S grille or an OE R56 JCW brake duct grill kit. For the side openings, you can source an OE R56 Cooper S/JCW fog light package, or just bond mesh into the openings for an easy way to finish it off.
