A BETTER Koni adjuster!

Koni adjustable shocks come with a knob for adjusting the stiffness, but whether you get the plastic or the metal version, they can both be frustrating to use. Koni's plastic knob rounds out and becomes useless after some time, and their metal knob is small and sharp so you need to wear gloves to use it and you don't have much leverage.

We decided to take matters into our own hands and make our own

Ours is low profile. It also has a wider surface area on the sides with beveled edges so it doesn't dig into your fingers. And the larger diameter gives you enough leverage that you don't have to grit your teeth to make adjustments. The knob is CAD designed, with the black portion made from a special carbon fiber reinforced nylon for a strong yet lightweight tool that's nice to touch, and it has a precision laser cut stainless steel keyway embedded in the center so that it will never wear out.

Only compatible with adjustable stiffness Koni shocks that have the metal tab on top, like Koni Sports and our ClubRace coilovers. Not for other brands of shocks.

Since this knob goes directly on to the adjuster tab on the top of the shock, this won't work with OE style shock tower braces that cover the top of the shock where you would have drilled a hole through the shock tower brace for the plastic Koni knob to extend down into. But it works great with shock tower braces that leave the area above the shock open like our RoadsterSport braces. If you have an adjustable shock, you should have a better shock tower brace that is lighter, stiffer, and that offers easier access to the top of the shock than the OE steel brace anyways!

Brian's Feedback. Makes front and rear KONI SPORT shock adjustment a lot easier on NA and NB and ND and Fiat 124. Not a miracle cure for adjusting rear of KONI in NC where the space is just so tight with the tall aluminum OEM shock hats. The KONI low profile metal adjuster fits and works better in the trunk of an NC if you can get that smaller diameter adjuster to turn in the tight space (we sell that too, see item 61-1272 on this site). If your rear koni are really stiff to turn in an NC, then this might help at rear of NC too. Yes, works with our ND and NC shock tower braces at the front.
