DESCRIPTION
For those who want to avoid dissasembling their stock shock and spring assembly to swap parts over to their new ClubSport coilover or other shock/spring assembly, here we offer a package of all the remaining bits you will need. Package includes:
- OE Front metal top hats (x2)
- OE Front rubber spring seat / shock boot (x2)
- OE Rear metal top hats (Left x1, Right x1)
- OE Rear rubber spring seat / shock boot (x2)
- RoadsterSport Polyurethane Top Hat Bushings (x4 enough for 4 shocks)
This kit DOES NOT include washers for the top hat, because our ClubSport coilovers already come with two washers per shock (one goes below the top hat assembly, one goes above it). If you're putting these top hats on some other shock/spring or coilover assembly, you may need to source washers as needed for whichever shocks you have.
Most KONI shocks come with one washer for use below the top hat assembly, and you'll need one additional washer per shock to go on top of the top hat. We sell a set of four Koni metal washers separately on our site.
This package will work with most OE size replacement shocks and lowering springs like Koni Sports and Progress Springs. But this package is NOT compatible with most coilovers, as coilovers typically come with smaller springs that don't fit the factory top hats. Our ClubSport coilovers are the exception to this as they use custom made springs that fit the factory hats.
All of these parts aside from the RoadsterSport bushings are genuine Mazda factory parts. Please note that Mazda just packs their items in thin plastic bags. WE pack things with much more care, but the metal hats may have some scratches or blemishes on them from rubbing with each other long before we receive them.
