PART NUMBER: 61-3938
For those buying new wheels whose cars come with Tire Pressure Monitors, these are a great high quality TPMS sensor at a fraction of the price of factory Mazda sensors.
Price for full set of FOUR sensors.
These are pre-programmed for the 2022-2025 Mazda MX-5 frequency, so you don't have to get these programmed by a dealer or do anything special to get them to work. Just have your tire shop install them when they mount the tires, and then follow the TPMS reset procedure.
For MX-5s earlier than 2022, look to our other Schrader sensors elsewhere on our site.
These sensors have a slimmer profile than the factory sensors as well, so they fit ALL of the wheels we sell, including some wheels that the factory sensors do not, like the Advanti Racing Storm S1.
Schrader is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of sensing technologies. While these are not Mazda factory sensors, they are just as high quality as the factory stuff. NOT like the cheap knockoff sensors that can be hard to get working, finicky, and die after just a short time.
Factory Service Manual Installation:
NOTE The tire pressure sensors on each wheel have a unique ID signal code. For the TPMS to operate correctly, the ID signal codes of the tire pressure sensors need to be registered to the system.
1. Wait more than 19 minutes after changing a tire or wheel.
2. After more than 19 minutes have passed, drive the vehicle at a speed of 25 km/h (16 mph) or faster for 3 minutes or longer. While driving, the ID signal codes of the tire pressure sensors are automatically registered.
NOTE If you drive the vehicle within 19 minutes of changing a tire or wheel, the TPMS warning light will flash because the ID signal codes for the tire pressure sensors were not registered. In this case, stop the vehicle and register the ID signal codes of the tire pressure sensors per the procedure above.
I have not installed the sensors yet, but I just purchased four new rims and the sensors will be installed in the new rims. I expect the sensors to work fine, because Good-Win Racing only provides excellent products at reasonable and fair pricing. These sensors are about my sixth purchase from Good-Win Racing. Great selection of products available through them. Thank you, Good-Win!! David T.
If you have any questions about TPMS that works with your system, This is it, I have a newly purchased 2023 RF GT, after my 2016 Club was totaled in an accident.
. After visiting my local dealership and not getting the answers I needed from the service reps about purchasing at set for my older MX5 wheels. They could not give me any information about compatibility with more than one set of wheels.
Right after that conversation, and still in the waiting area. I visited the Goodwin Racing site. For much less than what the dealer wanted, I purchased these sensors. They work flawlessly, just as advertised. No additional tool was needed.
My main concern or issue is that two of my local tire places Pep Boys and Mavis, would not install them, So I had to find another shop, my Bridgestone S001 had be replaced because of age. So I purchased a new set of tires and the shop installed them for no cost (Momentum Tire in Wayne NJ). No fuss, not issues, and I did not have to put a piece of tape on the dash.
Thank you Goodwin Racing!
Appear as solid as OEM at a much better price. Synched up on my '24 with a simple procedure of turning ignition on and off, then going for a 15 minute drive. After a month since install working fine.
