DESCRIPTION

This is for one Koni STR-T shock for the rear of 99-05 Miata. This shock is missing all of the hardware and accessories that normally come with it. Good candidate for someone who already has these shocks and just needs a replacement and can therefore swap over the spring perch and other hardware from their old STR-T shock. This shock may not ship with the original packaging, but the shock itself is still brand new and never used.
Only one shock available at this price. All bargain bin sales are final.

Our original description for this item:

These Koni Orange Replacement Shocks are Non-adjustable replacements for your stock shocks. They are an upgrade over the stock shocks, providing a slightly firmer ride and superior control with Koni quality and lifetime warranty.

These "STR.T-Street Shocks" are Koni's entry level performance shock absorber designed as a perfect OE replacement with stock springs or for Miata improvement with a mild lowering spring such as our Racing Beat street Miata springs. * Non-adjustable * Lifetime Warranty * The most affordable KONIs.

Price is PER SHOCK. Koni NON-Adjustable Performance Shock, KONI PART NUMBER 8050 1044

These are a twin tube low pressure nitrogen gas design. When compared to a brand new factory shock these tend to ride a little bit lower when compared to new factory high pressure shocks. Compared to brand new factory shocks these Koni typically ride at least half an inch lower because of the low pressure design (part of the reason KONI are popular with our autocross customers is gain of negative camber from that lowering in classes where factory height springs are required). But old leaking factory shocks suffer loss of pressure over time and your ride height on old shocks may already be much lower than the car was originally from the factory. Thus, despite Koni shocks generally giving slightly lower heights than new factory shocks, we have seen cases where folks replace their old tired shocks and the result is an increase in ride height because their original shocks were so far gone. Consequently, whether you will see a change in ride height with the installation of Koni shocks is not something we can get too precise about because the answer depends on the condition of the shocks in the car that you are replacing.
