RoadsterSport Fiat 124 Dual Exhaust

DESCRIPTION

This is for one RoadsterSport axle-back dual exhaust for the Fiat 124. It was temporarily installed on a car but never ran, so it has some markings and blemishes from the install, but otherwise still in very nice condition.

Add FUN to YOUR Fiat 124 with our adjustable sound Fiat 124 Dual Tip Exhaust. Going with a muffler delete is a big step, only this model lets you add back our packed baffles to quiet things down if the wife doesn't agree with your fun sound choice, or you want to calm it a little for longer trips.

Fits Manual and Automatic Transmission, and standard versions and Abarth versions. This is a muffler delete, raises the sound a lot on Abarth versions because the Abarth versions lack a resonator in the factory midpipe from the factory. On all non-Abarth versions the result is better than stock by miles yet still mild compared to Abarth versions because non-Abarth versions have an effective large resonator in the factory midpipe. Thus, those with non-Abarth version seeking the Abarth level of fund need our Highflow 2.5 inch Midpipe to reach the sound level of the Abarth versions.

Adds five horsepower and feels like more than that amount because the better flow lets the turbo spool faster and earlier in the rpms (see dyno chart in our forum Fiat thread).

All POLISHED stainless steel construction and LIFETIME warranty. Uses stock hangers and connects to either our midpipe or the stock midpipe.

Unlike our QUAD, this dual 3.5 inch polished tip setup is adjustable for sound using cone baffles that are included that can be removed for more sound, and takes our optional fiberglass packed Baffles that slide in and lower sound level more (packed baffles sold separate on this website).

DYNO RESULTS!

Chart shows stock power curve as the lower red line, upper Blue line is with our muffler. Notice the TORQUE gains at the bottom end in particular, that's gains you can feel every time you pull away from a stoplight.

BRIAN'S INSTALL NOTES:

Installation of this exhaust is SUPER EASY, install hardware is included. Just two stock 14mm bolts to loosen (actually nuts on studs, if the nuts comes out without the stud you can use 13mm deep socket to remove the stock stud). When you open the big box you will find separate foam wrap on the exhaust tips, leave that foam around the tips during your install to protect the polished tips and your car's soft plastic in the exhaust cutout. Use gloves. Use correct socket to remove stock bolts/nuts. Then lube up the stock exhaust hangers with dish soap and yank stock muffler back and forth to work the soap into the rubber hangers and then the muffler will slide off those rubber hangers easily. Then hang the new muffler on the wet and soapy rubber hangers, install the sleeve clamp that connects to driver's side tip. Use one hand to get alignment of flange to midpipe as perfect as you can while you get nuts finger tight. Note that alignment of tips depends on clocking position of pipe into sleeve clamp leading to driver's side tip, adjust that clocking position as needed to raise or lower driver's side tip to match passenger side tip height. Torque bolts with the springs back in place to 30ft/lbs. Now you can remove foam tip wrap and have some FUN! Customer Video!
