PART NUMBER: 61-0498
When properly mounted on the rear of your Miata, a wing can generate large amounts of downforce, increasing the amount of tire grip available on the road. This increased grip allows you to carry higher speeds through turns.
This GTC-200 wing is composed of lightweight and durable carbon fiber composite. Supporting this Miata carbon fiber wing are 10 mm aircraft grade 6061 billet aluminum pedestals that come in a flat black powdercoat finish, with turn-buckles to adjust the wing's pitch. This is a full miata-specific kit.
NEW 2nd generation GTC-200 airfoil is 60.5" wide with a height of 10". This wing offers substantial downforce at the speeds seen on the track, and can enable lower lap times even for naturally aspirated, low power miatas.
The GTC-200 is a "3D" wing, meaning that the center section has a different angle than the outer section angle. This makes the best use of the air traveling around and over the car. It also means that you don't have to install your wing high above your roof line for it to be effective.
These wings are built to order by APR. Please allow 2-3 weeks for construction.
RYAN'S NOTES: This wing's adjustability makes it a great match for a wide variety of front-end aero on a miata. At a shallow (horizontal) angle it pairs well with mild additions such as a front lip spoiler or canards. At steeper angles it produces enough downforce to balance a racing front airdam and/or small splitter.

Originally i was trying to purchase a Blackbird fabworks lexan rear spoiler, they were back ordered for months, finally decided on buying the GTC-500. Installation took about 1 hour. only issue is the nuts and washers on the inside of the decklid do not sit flush, due to the uneven sheetmetal on the underside of the trunk lid. Some custom trimmed spacers will help this.
Prior to installation i was concerned about rigidity of the wing and its mounts, i have read about some cheaper wings starting to oscillate at speed. no issue here wing is like a brick and the mounts do not flex at all . ( although, he trunk lid itself has some vertical movement due to the weather seals, is minimal).
i am going to add a RGR front splitter to balance out the wing, hoping to lower lap times at track days.
i love the look of the wing, i think its badass, my wife thinks is ghetto, oh well?
