The clutch master cylinder on my 2007 NC with 125K miles was starting to leak a little on the inside. No problem with the clutch operation, but clearly time to replace the clutch master cylinder. This new part looks a little different from the original part, but it fit just fine. I did have to bend the output tubing a little to make sure the flare nut lined up and started easily. Also, it is very important to bleed the clutch slave cylinder properly or the clutch pedal might stick in the down position.
Hi,
I have a 2013 NC Miata PHRT that my dad and I supercharged. It has about 20k miles on it (I think I bought it with about 9k).
Anyhoo, about a year ago, I noticed that while I was driving the clutch got quite a bit softer, say, after about 20 or 30 minutes of driving. It would engage and there was no slip, but it felt like the first few inches were effortless, and then resistance arose in the last bit of play.
I intended to fix the return cylinder or lines, but decided to try the Master Cylinder first, as I suspected the 'piston' or whatever, inside was letting a little fluid through. Easy to replace. Seems to have alleviated the problem.
Happy me. Will likely do the lines and the other cylinder at some point but tbh the Supercharger kinda gets in the way hahahahaha #didn'tthinkitthrough.
Good product. Nice ordering. Thank you.
