DESCRIPTION
The Sportive coilovers is an "OEM Plus" coilover option designed to offer sporty street performance at a minimum budget. They offer a relatively fixed amount of lowering (there is a small height adjustment range to fine tune the ride height) and the shock damping is fixed.
The goal of the Sportive suspension is provide good ride quality, sharp handling, all while sitting at a lowered ride height.
The Sportive use 6kg/mm front springs, 5kg/mm rear springs, with fixed damping twin-tube dampers.
The out of the box ride height setting is approximately 13.0" Front and Rear. The shocks have about 1" of adjustment range on the ride height to allow you to fine tune your ride heights at each corner to account for your car's specific weight and balance. (Range is about 12.75" to 13.75")
** If you want a coilover with adjustable shock damping, or with a much wider ride height adjustment range, look to the MeisterR ZetaCRD. If the car is track focused, look to the MeisterR ClubRace with higher spring rates and damping suited for that use. **
The Sportive damper valving were developed at MeisterR's UK R&D workshop, and are matched to the paired springs rates. They describe the ride quality of the Sportive as "Supple, compliant, and rides well over uneven road surfaces. Not as responsive as the mono-tube dampers used on the MeisterR ZetaCRD, but certainly much more controlled than OEM. One would say the Sportive would be an OEM+ option, sporty performance but certainly not track dedicated."
Feedback from MeisterR's testing and customers is that the Sportive shocks feel similar to the ZetaCRD when set to 10 clicks off stiff (about mid-way through the ZetaCRD adjustment range).
The Sportive suspension will come with aluminium top mounts pre-assembled (Rear top mounts are extended), ready to be mounted on the car out of the box. The damper bodies are electroplated to enhance corrosion resistance. Bump stops, rubber dust covers, and 1-year warranty are included.

MeisterR Sportive Coilovers - NC
Love these. Running with roadster sport sways. Handling is crisp and snappy, and almost exactly as comfortable as stock. Best value coils out there if you're a street driver. Install was a lot easier than I was expecting. I'm running stock 205/45 on OEM club 17in rims. Took me about 4 hours, never had to adjust them at all. Went from a 4 finger gap to a 1 finger gap straight out of the box. Stance was perfect. Highly recommend!
Debated for a long time on which coilover , I'm very happy with the meisters.
The quality was better than I expected, great to adjust ride height .
I set mine up for 13.5"center to arch
Great for my street driving and wont get hung up on Speed bumps.
Note that is helpful, 1/4" rise in coilover height is (1/4")car height.
So when the rear was 1/2" too high, just adjust the fork down 1/2".
Aslo loostening the preload nuts and making the coil loose, then (double nut the middle and bottom nuts) then you can spin the shock body and adjust the ride height, (then re pre load the spring) .
Saves removing the coilovers for height adjustment .
I didnt change the stock anti sway bars, dont think I'm going to either,it has nice weight transfer and very slight roll. but great improvement !!! (Not too harsh for street,)and should if done it years ago.
