Developed with and made by CSF, this is Goodwin Racing's new all-aluminum ultra efficient performance radiator for the Fiat 124, a bit over 20 percent more capacity than stock and all aluminum.For max overheating protection match this all aluminum radiator upgrade with our all aluminum Fiat 124 expansion tank and HIGHER pressure cap, which raises the boiling point of the entire cooling system.
- Advanced fin and tube technology:
Utilizes CSF's specially-engineered "B-tubes" which are made from thinner and lighter aluminum but are still stronger than conventional 0-shape tubes. The core features louvered fins with a denser packing. More fins per inch than standard cores means more surface area for cooling and thus dramatically higher efficiency.
- 31mm core for peak efficiency and light weight:
Conventional high-performance radiators with low fin counts and standard tubes have no choice but to increase the core thickness to get more cooling. This core is roughly quarter inch thicker than stock and far less than two inch race cores used on some turbo Miata applications. The thicker core units slow down the air more, and that hurts efficiency, so you get diminishing returns as the core gets thicker and thicker. A thicker core also means a heavier radiator. The new generation of radiator advances used in this unit allow us to achieve a new "best" for cooling ability without any need to massively increase core size. This 31mm core allows for fast airflow, further improving performance, and keeps the weight well below classic 2 inch thick racing radiators. The relatively thin core, about a quarter inch more than stock, also means the unit can drop in place of the factory unit without the need for relocating anything.

"B-Tube" technology - Unlike a regular oval shape "O" type radiator tube, CSF uses a specially engineered tube in a shape of a "B". These "B-tubes" are carefully formed and then brazed over the seam to seal. CSF is able to use thinner and lighter aluminum material (better cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than normal "O" shape tubes that are welded.
The design (inlet in the middle of tube that is seam brazed) increases the heat transfer surface area of the tube by approximately 15% over regular tubes. You get the efficiency of 2 smaller tubes vs. 1 large tube within the same space criteria. With "B-tubes" you are able to get "dual liquid laminar flow."
The tubes are made from aircraft grade special clad aluminum and are intricately formed on our high precision 6-stage tubeforming mill. No other aftermarket radiator manufacturer uses this technology. This technology raises the bar and sets the standard for high performance radiator cores.
Automatic Transmission: This radiator fits BOTH manual and automatic cars. Includes formed hard lines for the automatic transmission lines to connect to. Radiator ships with caps on those lines. If you have a manual transmission, you can just leave those lines capped off and do not use them.
