DESCRIPTION
The stock MX-5 air box is restrictive and uses an inexpensive flat paper filter. The TDR "Super Cool" high flow intake has much better breathing by using an open-element cone air-filter placed directly in the flow of cool air in the front grill of the Miata.
Requires removal of the bumper for installation. But once this intake is installed, you can service the air filter without needing to remove the bumper again, unlike many other aftermarket intakes that require the removal of the front bumper every time you need to service your air-filter element.

Love this intake in own 2008 for street and track in combo with TDR "Super Cool" Air Flow Kit. We ran the TDR intake and airflow kit hard and found it gives us improved throttle response and very stable radiator temperatures.
