DESCRIPTION
These KandN Apollo MX5 Miata cold air intake systems incorporate a washable/reusable KandN high-flow air filter. Their specially designed shape increases volumetric efficiency and provides the benefits of an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit. The KandN Apollo cold air intake systems also reduce heat, which keeps the intake charge cool. The smooth internal features minimize air turbulence and maximize airflow.BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES: This choice is STR and CSP class legal for you SCCA Autocrossers out there, because installation does not remove the splash shield in the bumper. Designed for 06-08. It can be partially installed on 09+ but you will need to use again the factory elbow and I suggest searching "Apollo" on the Miata.net forum and reading the full install thread there first.

Terrific product! I can't believe I'm the first to write a review. Installs easily, increases power, and you DON'T have to take the nose off. Hooks right up to the OEM splash-shield which is there for a reason. I also liked how you just had to transfer the MAF element, installing it in a larger diameter intake tube.
