5x Racing 14mm Rear Sway Bar

DESCRIPTION

While the 16mm rear bars used to work well for a Spec Miata, a 16mm sway bar is oftentimes too big for those who are focused on track day events. Having a rear sway bar that is too thick - or "big" - will cause the rear end of the car to become too loose.

The 5x Racing 14mm rear bar is inspired by the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata which had a non-adjustable 14mm rear sway bar that Mazda deemed perfect to balance the higher powered turbo powerplant. However, 5x Racing adds the benefit of 3-way adjustability to further improve the design. Paired with a set of adjustable end-links, you can dial in your rear grip levels using the adjustment holes on the bar to suit your driving style, from safe to loose!

Comes with 5X Racing "green gummies" 80A durometer Urethane sway bar bushings pictured below to provide the best all-around compliance, performance, and durability. Not too stiff for daily drivers like the 95A "race" alternatives, not too soft like the OEM rubber bushings for track use. Perfect for your street-driven Miata AND track beast!

Sean's Notes: This is the sway bar to have for going fast at the track. The 14mm rear sway pairs perfectly with the very popular Racing Beat tubular front sway bar. Unlike the factory Mazdaspeed bar, the 5x Racing unit is 3 position adjustable to give you ability to fine tune the balance of your car. In terms of stiffness, the rear most position on the sway bar is slightly stiffer than stock, the center position is a match for the Mazdaspeed 14mm and the forward most position is slightly stiffer than the OEM Mazdaspeed unit.
