DESCRIPTION

Made to fit our System One by Magnaflow. NOT made to fit other Magnaflow or other brand systems. Diameter is 2.25 inch so it fits manual and automatic. Made in 400 series stainless, not the polished 304 of our other RoadsterSport Crosspipes. Thus, lower costs than our RoadsterSport Crosspipe because not 300 series, not polished, and not available in ultimate performance 2.5 inch diameter. But, you are never going to SEE it after install and the 400 series will last the life of the car and beyond and it fits both manual and automatic transmissions.

The Crosspipe upgrade is the KEY item to making your turbo come alive! Makes your turbo spool faster and at much lower rpms than stock. Stock crosspipe is terrible, starts at just 2 inches diameter and is pinched down to about 1.7 inches right at the inlet, which keeps your turbo from spooling quickly!

MUST be used with our RoadsterSport System ONE by Magnaflow, will not install to small inlet of factory midpipe. Give your turbo more flow all the way and it will make you smile like never before!

Yes, this is a CARB legal 'cat-back' item because it bolts to rear of stock converter.

This is the path to 200 Ft/lbs of Torque per our dyno graphs in our forum Fiat thread!

See our forum pictures showing comparison of restrictive stock crosspipe that crushes down to under 2 inches of flow, versus our clean 2.5 inch diameter highflow replacement.

Install:
1. Remove lower shield
2. Spray O2 sensor with liquid wrench or similar, we use zep40 dual force and let soak 30 minutes and then remove.
3. Spray all 4 nuts, two at entrance flange for Crosspipe and two more at Crosspipe exit flange.
4. Loosen nuts at downpipe entrance but do not remove yet.
5. Loosen nuts at midpipe and remove and take springs/studs.
6. Stud removal process, double up two nuts to remove or half inch deep socket also fits over the stud.
7. Remove 13mm bolt that holds bracket near exit of Crosspipe.
8. Remove 2 nuts at entrance flange of Crosspipe that you loosened in step 3 and pull Crosspipe.
9. Reverse order to install, torque 18 to 20 ft/lbs.

Do NOT use header wrap on Crosspipes, header wrap causes fit issues and fast corrosion of the stainless.

Install Tips. Note that bracket attached to stock mounting point and the stock mounting point has room for adjustment as needed if you follow it back upward. Connection at midpipe needs to be done with patience, start with installing studs first, and then add the springs and then add the retaining nuts. If nuts are jammed onto the stock studs before you start you need to separate those nuts with 13mm wrench, trying to force the studs over the springs and get the threading started with nuts already jammed onto the studs is too hard to do.

CrossPipe for System ONE only!

Excellent product. Love it. Customer service from Goodwin Racing is unmatched and outstanding.

The system one crosspipe, at least for me, required the lower pan to be modified for clearance by bending or hammering out the rear upper tunnel portion. Otherwise fitup and performance are great. Highly recommend

I did a DIY install of the cross pipe and System One Exhaust. Posted the full review with some pics on the 124Spider dot Org site.

Recap: Quick Delivery, well packaged, great fit, high quality, easy install with no issues at all, awesome support.

Performance improved, low end in particular but not dynoed of measurement road tested. Just seat of the pants assessment.

My wife wanted a two seater sport car, after looking at the Lusso vs the Abarth, the price difference and the sound that came out of the Abarth was not worth paying for.
After 30 days of ownership, she wanted more power and a little rumble, so we ordered the complete System ONE kit along with the cross-over pipe, and a new DV+ Diverter Valve.
The System ONE kit and the DV+ from Goodwin Racing where well packaged and arrived without damage, and as expected had the magnaflow sound bits inside.
Now I am a Jeep shop owner, so after the installation of the entire system (used the resonator), which went extremely well (maybe an hour), I was apprehensive about the startup and what the exhaust would sound like from the little 1.4L, well I can tell you it's not a V8, but is sure not a ricer, it had a deep throaty european sound. The wife enjoyed the sound. Took it around the block and you could feel the turbo lag had pretty much disappeared. Added the DV+ and the Turbosmart 7+ actuator and now its a little performance car and as she puts it the Beamers hate her now. I highly recommend this kit to any one who want to add a little performance and a performance sound to their Fiat 124 Spider.
