DESCRIPTION

Lightweight fiberglass race trunk with integrated ducktail shape by CCP Fabrication for the 99-05 NB Miata.

This is a RACE trunk. Made for those who want the lightest trunk lid possible for their race car. One should not expect OEM fitment. Duplicate of original shape but a fraction of the weight (About 6 lbs). Hand laid fiberglass with white gelcoat. Has embedded nuts in the underside to accept OEM hood hinges and latch striker.

Option for 3rd brake light: Choose this option if you want to have a hole cut out for installing the OEM 3rd brake light in the trunk lid.

CCP constructs their body panels with hand laid fiberglass over a white gelcoat that is ready to paint. The molds release a glossy white panel, tempting to forgo painting, but require painting (or vinyl wrap) to maintain integrity as gelcoat does not contain UV protection.
