Supertech pistons for the 94-05 1.8L (BP) Miata engines. Price is for a full set of 4 pistons and matching rings.

Supertech usually does not include the rings with their pistons, you have to order them separately - and the rings needed changes depending on the piston specs you choose. But to make things easy for you, here we are selling a full set of pistons AND rings. Depending on the piston specs you select, we will supply the correct Supertech rings.

Supertech pistons start at +0.5mm bore and go up from there (stock bore is 83mm for the BP) because as these engines are all a couple decades old now, the odds of having a block that doesn't need at least a small amount of honing is very unlikely.

Piston spec options: select piston specs in the drop-down menu. Note that CR (Compression Ratio) changes slightly as bore size changes.

Supertech pistons are manufactured from extruded high silicon, enhanced 4032 alloy (with additional Cu, Ni & Mg) that has low thermal expansion and features excellent wear resistance.
Multi-step forging process that yields a fine structural grain orienting the fibers in the same direction of the stress.
Several heat treatments for an evenly distributed hardness and extremely high tensile strength.
Goes through several machining steps specifically designed to ensure dimensional precision, perpendicularity and flatness of the ring grooves. Reduction grooves
Honed and reamed pin bores for the most precise fit.
Wrist pins are constructed of cold extruded chrome moly steel for high strength to be used with wire clip locks.
