High Performance Wilwood big brake kit with 11.75 inch rotors and radial mount Dynapro 4 piston calipers.
This 11.75" is slightly larger than the factory 11.5" JCW front brakes, yet weighs MUCH LESS thanks to the lightweight calipers and 2 piece rotors with aluminum centers. That means all the big brake advantages while keeping unsprung weight to a minimum, and that means peak braking performance without sacrificing ride quality. Whereas even larger big brake kits would shift the braking balance too far forward, this 11.75" kit gives massive braking power while still maintaining good overall balance and performance. It is the ideal size for the R50, R52, and R53 in our opinion.
Shop this kit from Wilwood and you will find that they do not include lines in the price at all; Wilwood lines are an additional $100. Here you get them included in the kit!
Brake fluid is NOT included, so that you can pick the fluid you prefer and order it at the same time. We have great brake fluid options from Wilwood, AP Racing, and MOTUL.

At this price this is a bargain among big brake kits, and provides BIG bang for the buck with the race proven Dynapro four piston calipers. These calipers provide big clamping power in a truly lightweight and reliable design. Four stainless steel pistons provide additional corrosion resistance and the lowest heat transfer of any one-piece piston design. Changing pads in these calipers is super easy and fast - just remove the retention clip and the pads lift right out the top! Calipers are available in either Black or Red powdercoat, or in Wilwood's signature Type III Grey anodize.
Braking power is radically improved again with the larger 11.75" diameter disc rotors. Compared to the stock rotors, brake leverage is increased by as much as 10% with the larger diameter. The 0.81" thick, vented curved design is the perfect balance between weight and cooling area for outstanding reliability and fade free performance in tough conditions. Wilwood's GT 36 Curved Vane Spec-37 rotors are manufactured from a proprietary iron alloy developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking, and wear. The formulation for this alloy is a derivative of technology and materials that were significant in the development of the extreme duty military spec rotors that are manufactured by Wilwood. Combined with our proven GT Series asymmetrical face slot pattern and individual dynamic balancing, you are assured the smoothest braking available.
BP-10 Brake Pads for the front calipers are street-focused pads with higher temperature resistance than your factory pads. Developed for improved stopping power, quiet engagement, and the lowest possible dusting available from a performance compound pad. Premium grade hardware is supplied along with detailed instructions in every kit. If you would prefer a different brake pad, simply order the other pad along with your kit, and include a note in the order comments saying that you don't want the BP-10 pads. We'll leave the BP-10 pads out, and will refund you for them.
