Weight in the wheels and brakes is where it matters most, this is where every pound saved makes a difference. Improve both ride quality and performance all at once with our lightweight rotors! 2-piece rear rotor upgrade in the same size as the 10.9" factory sport size rear rotor for a "drop in" fit if you have sport package rear brakes OR if you have an earlier Miata and use our upgrade brackets sold separately on our site that space your stock caliper out to fit over the sport size rear rotor.

Plain and slotted rotor styles saves 1 lb per side compared to the stock rear rotor. Wave rotor style saves 2.5 lbs per side! Wave rotors are commonly found on motorcycles where weight savings is paramount. Our wave rotors function like stock but weigh much less!

This kit is centered around lightweight aluminum hats made for us by V8R. They are CAD designed and FEA tested, weighing just under 1 lb each and designed with cooling reliefs for great thermal dissipation. Uses a premium grade iron friction ring. Hardware included.

These friction rings are MADE TO ORDER - allow 2-3 weeks from time of order.

INSTALL NOTES: Minor grinding of the factory brake caliper's bracket may be needed for clearance between the bolt heads on the back of this rotor and the caliper bracket.
