The Racing Beat Power Pulse Mazda 3 Exhaust System for the Mazda 3 Skyactiv 5-Door (2.0/2.5 ltr) is a full 304-stainless steel exhaust designed specifically for the Mazda 3 Skyactiv application. Initially designed for Mazda's Club Sport project vehicle, this exhaust was on full display in Mazda's 2013 SEMA Show booth in Las Vegas.
The Racing Beat Power Pulse Mazda 3 Skyactiv exhaust system is a direct replacement for the factory system and utilizes all stock hangers and mounting brackets to ensure a secure fit. Manufactured in-house by Racing Beat using 2.375" OD stainless steel outlet tubing and stainless steel flanges for excellent durability, this exhaust system offers an excellent balance of appearance and performance. Finished with our aggressive 4" OD stainless steel S-Tip, the Racing Beat Mazda 3 Skyactiv exhaust system looks as great as it performs. The easy-to-install Racing Beat Power Pulse Mazda 3 Skyactiv exhaust system comes complete with all required mounting hardware and gaskets.

The muffler came in yesterday afternoon without a problem. UPS did a good job editing the delivery location. I put the unit on the car last night, it was an easy straight forward installation that took about 30 minutes. The exhaust was a perfect fit, the flange was identical to the OEM flange the hangers were in the precise factory locations, the outlet alignment is perfect and the polished muffler can and tips look really nice. I like the exhaust outlets size. They fill up the bumper cut outs very nicely, extend a bit further rear past the factory outlets making them more visible and they represent a modern departure from the older Racing Beat tips that I have on my Miata exhaust. Definitely a great addition to the car and the exhaust note is exactly what I was looking for. I look forward to many many miles of enjoyment out of your muffler!

The development of this Mazda 3 exhaust was based on our earlier experiences with the 2.0 and 2.5 Skyactiv engines from both the CX-5 and Mazda 6 applications. In the near future we'll be venturing back to the chassis dyno to test this exhaust system on a 2014 Mazda 3, more info will be posted as it becomes available.

This is the first car I've ever paid off (and that is saying a lot because I've owned entirely too many at my age). I forgot the joy of modification so one of the first things I bought was a Racing beat Skyactiv exhaust for my 2018 Mazda 3 GT Hatchback. Of course I purchased this way back in the very beginning of the year. It is now the very end of July 2025. Well worth the wait. The hardest part of this whole thing was getting the exhaust loose from the rubber hangers. Everything else was a breeze. And the sound..... The sound is so rich. Its not overly irritating. The look is aggressive. This was really worth the wait and my favorite purchase for my car.
Really phenomenal exhaust. Below 3k RPM, you just hear a low rumble in the cabin when you're at 30-50% throttle. Above 3k, I hear just enough of the exhaust to know what RPM I'm at and also enjoy the engine. The exhaust tips fill out the rear bumper nicely as well and required zero adjusting once installed. No noticeable drone on the interstate at 70-80mph, especially when masked by the wind noise and any music you have playing.
It took about an 30-45 minutes for me to install with an exhaust hangar removal tool. Racing Beat ships the muffler with a new gasket and two new bolts. The instructions they provided were also accurate for me. The two studs holding the OEM muffler threaded out with the nuts still attached due to the rust, but they came out easily with a 3/8" impact gun and 6-point 14mm socket. Didn't have to lift the car with a jack on stock suspension.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this exhaust to anybody who wants to hear the engine a little bit better without blowing out the eardrums of neighbors and having it echo off nearby buildings. I've tried straight pipes and Invidia N1 on my Honda, and this is a very nice change of pace for my new daily driver. This is no louder than exhausts on cars like the Elantra N, and it brings me just a little bit more joy every morning when I get the roads to myself and floor it onto highways.
The toughest part of the installation was getting the new exhaust system out of the box it came in. The box was well stapled and the exhaust system was bubble wrapped and taped. The stock system came off easily as the car had less than 1000 miles on the odo. From start to finish about 20 min. thanks to a well trained mechanic.
First I have to give kudos to Goodwin Racing, this product was cheaper through them than it was direct from Racing Beat. The second plus was delivery was less than a week from purchase date which was a great turn around.
Regarding the product, I have had this exhaust installed for about a month and I am happy overall. The installation was easy and I took care of it myself in about 30-45 mins, this is bolt on so it doesn't take much. The immediate satisfaction comes from the aesthetic look of the tips which fill so much better than the measly stock muffler. Taking to the road you get a subtle but more than adequate sound from the pipes and can really make them growl with an aggressive pedal. What I like best about the exhaust is that you have minimal drone, basically nothing at freeway cruising speeds but again responsive when you get on it.
Good product and great service from Goodwin. Would recommend to anyone looking for a simpler axle back system or looking to get quality for an affordable cost.
Preface: due to advancing age, my racing days are over and my mod' days are over !! Well, that's what I thought when I purchased this vehicle as a somewhat compromise between middle age and days in the past. However, after a few weeks I said to myself..."self", something just ain't right, and the answer was...the car just doesn't 'sound' the way it 'looks'. It sounds like an under powered hair dryer and the cheap looking stock exhaust tips made it embarrassing ! Thus, off to the internet I go, and looooooooooooooong story short, I found Brian and Good-Win, and it was love at first sight...with the exhaust not Brian ! Of course, there were some initial trepidation, especially with a brand new vehicle, but I got the sense that this is what I was looking/hoping for, and WOW...it sure was ! It's exactly what I was hoping for from all considered aspects: fit, function, sound, and looks !!!! I had my local shop do the removal/install (45 minutes) because I have 10 left thumbs and from experience having a "hanger" removal tool makes it a lot easier. The sound is well balanced, and is only there when you want it to be during acceleration (absolutely no cabin drone). The 4" solid stainless tips fill in the rear panel cut-outs perfectly giving it more of a macho look along with the sharp looking canister that is perfectly positioned to enhance the overall rear view without making it look after-market cheap. Very, very well done Good-Win and Brian...thank you for making to car sound and look complete !
