This car was originally one of 50 built as a Club Sport model - which includes delete radio and speakers, no power steering, no A/C and no soft-top. Apparently these cars also have a front sub-frame that allows the engine to sit slightly lower than stock. Limited sound insulation and no amenities always make the car feel raw to drive. The car originally ran for several years as a nationals level auto-x car. Mods were limited because it ran in stock class. To minimize weight a Borla Custom exhaust was added and Koni double adjustables, along with a racing beat front bar and hawk pads...
MORE: ... - the standard mods for a stock class car. Since it was retired from Auto-x it now has a racing beat header and blanket to keep intake temp cooler, and an AEM intake. Other mods include a hard-dog rollbar and 5x adjustable rear sway-bar for the track. Wheels run are usually the heliums to minimize wheel weight or a set of SSR wheels. To be installed are tow hooks and a Sparco seat and 6-pt harness. Also sports a small rubber lip spoiler (not shown). There are more powerful cars, and more luxurious cars but somehow Miata Is Always The Answer!
