NOTE: this is NOT an order for a roll bar, this IS an order for the Bolt in Harness bar.

The Bolt-In Harness Bar is designed for competition harness wrap-around shoulder strap attachment. Easily installed in all year model Miatas in conjunction with any version of The Hard Bar, Sport Bar or Hard Core Bar with the least amount of interference for normal use of the car. NOT compatible with any version of the Ace, Xtreme, or Deuce roll bars. Requires no drilling or panel alteration. Serves as a retrofit in situations where harness attachments were not ordered with a roll bar, or if you have an M2 bar with harness tabs and track event rules require individual shoulder strap attachments.

AVAILABILITY: While our site shows the item available to order that does NOT mean that it will ship immediately. All Hard Dog items drop ship directly from their factory to you. Inventory at Hard Dog fluctuates constantly with dozens of different bar models and configurations, and they are a small business that does not have an automated way to tell us if something is or isn't in stock at a given time. Some parts of the year they have inventory built up on hand, but there are many times in the year when roll bars and associated items are in high demand that they run out of most of the popular models and lead times can extend to 4-6 weeks. When we send your order to them, that's when they will let us know the estimated lead time for your order.

Brian's Commments. I MUCH PREFER this to any welded in harness bar because the welded in harness bars get in the way of seat adjustment and use of any rear window with glass. This I can install for track days and remove after track days for max seat adjustment range for daily driving, and easier lowering and flat lay of rear top with glass window. Thus, unlike a welded in harness bar, this removeable option gives you a proper Miata harness bar setup you need on track days that is not annoying you the rest of the time you want to just enjoy your Miata, and recline a seat all the way back, etc.
