ABOUT ADVANTI RACING: Advanti Racing wheels was established in the mid 1990s. Their racing experience includes supplier and sponsor of the Formula One Scuderia Toro Rosso team, among others, and that experience is reflected in the quality wheels they produce. Each wheel is designed and engineered in-house by YHI Manufacturing to the highest quality and testing standards, including JWL, JWL-T, VIA and TUV.
Flow Formed Production Technique results in stronger and more dense final product with less weight than lesser casting methods.
Note we recommend our numerous lug choices with any of our new wheels, stock lugs are too short and fat. Unlike the short and fat stock lugs that will result in scratching new wheels, all our replacement lugs have the socket tool bottom on the lug rather than the wheel surface and are longer for more engagement with stud surface, so they also stay tighter.
Track Tested By the Entire Good-Win Racing Team at Miatas at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with 235/40/17 tires in stock fenders and it works great! Even though 235/40 size tire fits nicely without rolling fenders it may rub plastic fender liner at full lock and/or full suspension compression depending on how much car is lowered, amount of negative camber, suspension choice, and tire choice.
ND TPMS Note:
In the USA, the 2016-2017 ND Miata uses NO in-wheel sensors for tire pressure. 2018+ ND Miatas do use physical tire pressure sensors. The factory in-wheel sensors for 2018-2020 MX5s do NOT fit Advanti Storm wheels. At some point in 2020 Mazda switched to a new sensor design, and that new sensor that started mid-2020 and is used up through 2025 does fit this wheel. Our aftermarket Schrader sensors for all 2018+ MX5s work in these wheels, and those are our top choice for OE-like quality at a fraction of the price. But if you wish to reuse your factory sensors with these wheels and you have a 2020 MX5, we cannot tell you whether you have the older or newer style of sensor in your car as Mazda made that change in the middle of the production year, so the only way to know if your existing sensors will work with these Advanti Storms would be to dismount your tires and visually check the sensors. But again, the better alternative is to get our Schrader sensors which you know will fit these wheels. Another option for racers is to just use regular valve stems with no sensors if you don't mind the light on the dash.
