OUT OF STOCK
This beautiful ABS plastic injected front grille is inspired by the grille of Mazda's show car 'Spyder' project. CarbonMiata turned this show car dream into reality.
Perfect fitment on the OEM bumper tabs. This grille replaces the OEM grille and improves the airflow going to the radiator and engine bay.
This is the version with dual color lights. The dual colors lights (white and yellow) can be activated from the included switch, and the "halo" is wired separately without a switch to come on when the car is turned on. Note the switch for the dual color center is a simple on/off switch. The change the light color, you just switch the lights off and then back on, and the color will toggle back and forth from white to yellow each time you do that.
Specifications:
ABS material
Glossy black finish
Strong and damage resistant
Reuses OEM tabs. Can be installed with no drilling, no cutting, no modification, though see our ND thread notes.
Includes wiring and switch to operate fog lamps from inside the car
DOES NOT FIT 2024+ MX5 due to interference with the radar unit in the front bumper that part of the adaptive cruise control and brake warning system.
Installation guide available at: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NQa_osBXRlxAZFJXLP7ZflGwJrj0yIQ7
Note: Platypus front license plate holder is not compatible with this grille because it places the license plate over the light.

I had a body shop install the grill and halo lights. Yea it cost a couple of bucks but I know these people and now I know it was installed properly. LOOKS Fantastic !!!!!! The grill is better looking than stock (always looked like it's tongue was hanging out of it's mouth). The Halo lights are a BIG plus and a little extra light at night is NOT a bad thing. So all in all I am highly pleased with my purchase.
Love this grill, looks as good or better than all the pictures. There are already great videos and instructions available online, but thought I would add a few comments and suggestions now that I have installed it.
I purchased the dual-light option, it turns out the switch is a simple on/off so it alternates between yellow and white every time the lights go on and off. Something to be aware of, particularly if you plan on linking to a factory fog light relay as I am planning on doing soon. I anticipate the lights will change color every time the high beams are turned on and off. Something to be aware of unless I'm missing something. Perhaps there is a setting or other wiring option but there are no specific instructions for the lights themselves.
Regarding the install, I did entirely solo with the car on jack stands. I did remove the DRL(6 screws each) rather than try to yank out the 2 connectors. I did cut out and maiintain the top section of the factory grill, not only does this maintain rigidity but also is a place to zip-tie the wiring out of the way. If I had to do over recommend installing a 4-wire connector to allow for future bumper removal (as has been shown by others, I didn't consider this until later).
While the bumper was off I took the opportunity to replace the factory horns with Hella Sharptones and add resistors for my LED turn signals to avoid hyperflash. While certainly possible to install with the bumper on it gave me a little more room to work with.
Should be a factory option if not OEM given how great it looks!
