NEW for 2021, the popular Konig Hypergram in 16" size! For years the track guys running stiff coilovers and 17x9 for fast weekends at the track and autocross asked us to make a strong and light 16 inch wheel to soften their daily driving to work....and here it is at last! Great for any street user seeking better ride quality.
The Hypergram is an exceptionally light 12-spoke design that is motorsport inspired in its construction, appearance and its ability to clear many big brake cars and upgrades! Utilizing Flow Forming Technology allows the Hypergram to be lighter and stronger than competitors including a bigger load rating than competitors in this weight class.

- Clears standard factory brakes
- Clears our 12.19" Budget BBK with 4 or 6 piston caliper
- Does NOT clear StopTech BBK
- Does NOT clear Wilwood 12.88" BBK
Brian's Comments: We got about 2 years of work into this fun 16 inch size for NC. Most 16 inch wheels don't fit NC because of rear suspension link, result was that to get LIGHT 16 inch wheels lots of folks ran old RX7 16x8 wheels that were 15 pounds and less but are so old and merely gravity cast that those wheels are cracking. So....finally a FLOW FORMED choice that is super light and yet super strong, with 690kg load rating! Great size for 200 treadwear 205/50/16, or 225/45/16. Expect 205/50/16 will plug and play on any lowered NC, 225/45 will need just a hair more camber, 225/50 needs good camber and might need fender lips rolled depending on variables such as the tire choice, the heights, and the camber. And for higher powered street customers seeking light good ride combo with turbo or supercharger or 2.5 liter conversions this works great with 225/50/16 to spread out the power band a little.Tight lug pocket means we suggest our various tuner lug upgrades with these wheels, such as our McGard Spline Drive Lugs.
BRIAN'S NOTES: On our own 08 GT Street Toy above and below with Continental 225/50/16. Proportions are very classic, reminds me of 60's Lotus Elan that was in our shop for the longest time getting fixed again and again. From the driver's seat it's pure love for this setup, I broke lots of laws on the way home from the shop today, drifted some freeway 270 degree ramps at beyond double the 'suggested' speed and just laughed out loud all the way.
The fun is accessible, not at crazy speeds like my higher grip 17 inch combo. No this is not the ultimate speed setup, no it is not an autocross setup, no it is not the fastest street setup. What it is....is FUN to toss about. A lot more compliance than the 17 inch combo, little ruts in the road are just absorbed.
Currently in this project car is our standard OHLINS NC coilovers (our usual starting settings 13.25 front, 13.5 rear heights), our Budget NC Big Brakes (rear calipers painted to match), our RoadsterSport Race Helmholtz muffler (such a fun sound on otherwise stock exhaust), and the BBK shift knob (Brian's Big Knob!). Perfect canyon setup, particularly if the surface has some broken up sections, lots more compliance with this setup than my usual 17x8 with 235/40 that has been on the car. This setup is 2 pounds lighter per corner than the 17 inch combo, that helps ride but most of the ride improvement is the greater sidewall the 16 inch gives.
