DESCRIPTION

Honda Ridgeline Springs Done Right! True Performance Lowering Springs! These Honda Ridgeline Lowering Springs are custom designed with our friends at Progress Technology to our specs based on extensive testing with our own 2020 Honda Ridgeline.

Fits AWD/4WD 2017-2025 Ridgeline ONLY. Does NOT fit Ridgeline prior to 2017 and does NOT fit Honda Passport.

Picture below courtesy Customer Chris Eaton with our Good-Win Racing Springs, Enkei XM-6 20x8.5 +40mm 5x120 Gloss Black Wheels, 265/50-20 Michelin Primacy all-season tires, Rear Sway Bar, SPC Rear Camber Joints, McGard Spline Drive Lugs, and Ridgeline Hubcentric rings:

We tried the other brand of Honda Ridgeline Springs and liked them a lot yet wanted more rear rate for better balance in hard turns, and better support for hauling and towing. We intentionally keep some of the factory rake so that if you load up the bed or tow the truck is level when loaded and not doing carolina squat.

The engineering staff at Progress has decades of experience in the design and tuning of performance suspension systems, including CART/Indy Cars, IMSA, SCCA, NASA, and SCORE competitors. These Honda Ridgeline springs reflect their ability to develop a successful blend of appearance, handling capability, and ride quality.

These Honda Ridgeline springs feature increased spring rates for upgraded handling capabilities with reasonable rate upgrade to keep superior ride quality. These Honda Ridgeline springs are designed to work with OEM shocks and struts. Progress specifies only certified high-tensile SAE spring wire materials. Their Honda Ridgeline springs are cold-wound on modern CNC coiling machines, then stress relieved, pre-set, and shot-peened for maximum durability. Note we are making these for the AWD Ridgeline at this time, we may later get the FWD customers covered but no eta for that at this time.

Starting drop approximately 2 inch drop front and rear.
-Front starting rate: 242 lbs/in --- Rear starting rate: 400 lbs/in
-All spring kits are powdercoated metallic gray.
-Drop amount varies by 0.25" and will settle a good quarter inch over time.

BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES: Initial travel comfort very similar to stock but when you lean on them in the turns the progress design means much less squishy than stock for much flatter handling. These are a great choice for those who want to replace the soggy factory springs, improve handling, without dropping the truck too much.

Brian's Comments. Stock rates on our 2020 were 205 lbs front and 340 lbs rear. Started with the Burtman Industries springs and liked them a lot except we wanted a bit more rear rate to support better balance and the loads we put in our Ridgeline regularly, including for towing. So, Burtman was 373 rear, we did a full 400 at the rear. You won't feel that difference in most driving, but the balance is better if you really push this truck in the turns like I do, and the support for towing is better (notice nice and level in pics below in towing our race car and trailer back from SCCA weekend).

ALIGNMENT. There is enough slop in the factory mounting holes that use of pry bar when we tighten down the rear bits (pulling out top and pushing in at bottom) got us reasonable camber of about -1.2. But not every shop is going to succeed on that extra persuasion, and the EASY button answer is just get the Honda Ridgeline Alignment Camber Kit Rear MOOG K100413, which will let you dial rear all the way back to somewhere between zero camber and half a degree if you want. For max cornering fun we like -1.2 camber all around. Front is not adjustable and usually lands about -1 to -1.2 without use of persuasion. Both MOOG and SPC also make adjustable rear ball joints for Ridgeline with a full 3 degrees of camber so you could have rear camber at zero if you wanted (but for fun driving we like at least a degree). Nonetheless, if towing or often having really heavy loads then the adjustable ball joint and zero rear camber would be the best choice.

We intentionally keep some of the factory rake so that if you load up the bed, or tow a trailer like we do, the truck is level when loaded. For that result see all pics above. But customer Samuel Weinzimmer wanted his truck level when empty, so he combined our springs with Traxda rear lowering control arms and that result is pictured below:

Good-Win Racing Honda Ridgeline Springs, Lowering and Performance!

After Buying the Good-win exhaust for my 2017 Ridgeline along with the Sway bar I had to buy the springs for my new 2026 Ridgeline. They are very well made and feel real sturdy, I had them installed by my local professional. Once I got in and started driving for the first time I knew I made the right decision. The truck drives like a dream, not only do you get the lowered look you get the stock ride feel. Then add the sway bar and you are in business. I also added the SPC adjustable ball joints as well, on my last ridgeline i had springs to lower and the rear was always off, while it didn't destroy tires it was noticeable and i wanted it right this time. So far the sitting heights have not reached the full 2 inches I expect it will over time.. The fronts were 1.25 and 1.5 and the rears are 1 inch for both sides.
Customer service is great and they are always willing to answer your questions. Cant wait for my next purchase.

These springs are awesome. They retain the nice ride quality of the OEM Springs. I installed these myself, the rears were pretty simple, the fronts..... will take you alittle long and require more special tools. Once installed, I loved the ride height and the comfort. The truck felt more planted and secured to the road. If I had to to it again...I WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT!!! The price is right, the springs are more beefier than the OEM springs (Each spring weighs a pound more than the OEM ones), it provides almost a level look (Still a slight forward rake), and the build quality is top notch. There is no more body roll/lean when going into a turn. Becuase of these springs and how good it made the truck look, I had to buy some nice aftermarket rims. Would I recommend these lowering springs to you...Without a doubt, I highly recommend these Goodwin lowering springs. My wife would say the same things as it has made getting in and out of the truck so much easier. THANK YOU Goodwin Racing!!!!

The springs are everything they are advertised to be. Got the drop I was looking for and the added firmness that takes the truck to another level. The ride is firmer without being harsh and it really tightens up the initial turn in and allows the truck to track much truer through the twisties. All it needs is another 100 HP and it would be a kick ass sport truck. I have not towed my boats with it yet but I am confident it has improved that significantly.
