CCP NC Lightweight Ducktail Trunk

Lightweight fiberglass race trunk with integrated ducktail shape by CCP Fabrication for the 06-15 NC MX5 Miata. Fits soft top cars only, does not fit PRHT cars.

Trunks ordered as of February 2024 will be produced from CCP's new updated mold for this item.

This is a RACE trunk. Made for those who want the lightest trunk lid possible for their race car. One should not expect OEM fitment. Duplicate of original shape but a fraction of the weight (About 6 lbs). Hand laid fiberglass with white gelcoat. Has embedded nuts in the underside to accept OEM hood hinges and latch striker.

CCP constructs their body panels with hand laid fiberglass over a white gelcoat that is ready to paint. The molds release a glossy white panel, tempting to forgo painting, but require painting (or vinyl wrap) to maintain integrity as gelcoat does not contain UV protection.

WILL-CALL OPTION: Customers in Florida can opt to pick up the part at CCP's shop in Port Richey, FL when it's complete. For that option, just include a note with your order and we will refund the shipping charge back to you after you place your order.
