PART NUMBER: 60-1373
Our favorite Miata shock is NOW in stock for the new 2006 and newer MX5 Miata. Adjustable damping from full soft to race car stiff or anywhere in the middle.
Price is PER shock. If you need two, order two!
Perfect for use with any of the springs we sell.
NOTE that despite fact that these shocks are same length as the factory shocks, installation of these twin tube shocks in the place of the factory monotube shocks typically results in some lowering (typically half to three quarters of an inch). To properly realize this effect you need to have the car ON THE GROUND before you torque the bolts that connect the upper A arms to the car in the front, and the upper links in the rear). On the other hand, if you are replacing original shocks that are beyond a decade old in the car then the pressure in those old shocks can be zero and adding any new shock may raise the car. See our forum installation instruction section thread for pictures and the Mazda notes.
Note that unlike earlier generation Miata Koni SPORT shocks this is NOT an adjustable spring perch on this generation. Price is PER SHOCK.

I purchased a 2011 Miata on 9/3/15 with 30K mi as a daily driver and do not anticipate auto x or track time. It had factory sport suspension with Bilstein shocks. Rocky installed all front and rear, Progress Springs, Koni Sport shocks, and Progress sway bars with RB end links (all at the same time). Also new tires Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2. So I can only review all the items together.
What a difference. The car now feels more stiff, settled, and stuck to the road. A joy to drive on freeway and twisty roads. It is lower now about 1'and ¼'front and ¾' rear. Sets at 13 ¼'front and 13 ¾'rear (gas full). Center of wheel to bottom of fender roll. I would buy all of these items again. Nice beefy sway bars and brackets. Thanks Brian for the info on the 2012 PRHT development car.
I recently upgraded my stock suspension on my 2012 MX5 PRHT GT. My application was simply as 'daily driver' and 'spirited' driving. The folks at Good-Win Racing recommended their koni adjustable sport shocks as part of their springs, struts, endlinks and front and rear sway bar suspension upgrade. The result is a vehicle with less body roll and very noticeable handling over stock. I couldn't be more happier with the results because the ride comfort has not been compromised and handling is amazing. This is the way the MX5 should have shipped from the manufacturer. Wonderful upgrade and highly recommended for 'daily drivers.' Thank you Good-Win Racing!
I purchased a full set of four of these shocks at a great price and paired them with the progress technology springs and the 58 red front, and 58 white rear bump stops. I used to amature road race so I love a good handling car
I am very pleased with this setup. having owned a 1990 na and a 2002 nb, I was very disappointed with the handling of this nc in comparison to my other Miatas. it was very mushy feeling and got quite upset when hitting bumps mid turn, it also had a lot of body roll and felt like the front end pushed in corners, did not inspire confidence in the turns.
I do really like a lot of other aspects of my PRHT MX5 in comparison to my other miatas
I have only put around 250 miles on this setup but can tell major differences immediately when driving, it is slightly firmer in its ride with the shocks and springs, but it is a major difference in harshness when hitting bumps in the road ,it is much more compliant and just has a lot better ride quality, it absorbs bumps instead of feeling the impact.
As far as handling I have not had it on a real curvy road yet but I can tell it stays a lot flatter in the corners, it does not get upset hitting bridge seams on freeway ramps like it used to, the front and back of the car feels more neutral and inspires confidence in the corners
so far with just 250 miles the car sits about 3/8" lower at the top of the wheel wells, but at the same time it made the stance of the car look level which gives it a lower looking stance which I really like appearance wise
cant wait to get it on a mountain road and highly recommend this set up for a daily driver
