I purchased this line, clutch master and slave. This trio of parts gave remarkable improvement in shifting: i would highly recommend for Miata owners. I am pretty handy with auto repair, but had never done this job before. But watching the several online videos empowered me for the project. Most vexing was removal of the lower bolt on the slave because its accessibility is hampered by the frame of the car. I imagine if the car was on a lift, access would be much easier; i had access only to a floor jack and jack stands. Using a ratcheting wrench from under the car or a socket and short extension attached to a long handled socket wrench from above the engine, the stubborn bolt can be extracted. One thing that concerned me was the fitment of the new line to the master and slave. On the original hard line, the collar of the flare nut fit snugly against the body of the master and slave. On the new line, the flare nut bottomed out with a few millimeters of thread exposed, and i was unsure if proper seal could be attained. Happily, the seal was perfect, no leaks of brake fluid detected. Be extra careful not to cross thread the flare nuts or bolts, as "feel" is best accomplished with the bare hand when starting the insertion. Be compulsive with protective draping of the fenders, with towels under the master and slave, as fluid inevitably leaks out and gets on hands, parts and tools. This stuff will definitely destroy paint. Multiple pairs of disposable gloves were very useful. Having a helper, to direct light, guide socket placement, retrieve tools and definitely for the bleeding process was invaluable. And finally, as the trio of parts was replaced, the line was filled with air. Nontheless, with patience, the line can be purged to satisfaction. We found that initial pumping of the clutch pedal 8-10 times, then lessened numbers of depression as the pedal firmed up, was the most effective technique. (By the way, 1/4 inch ID plastic tubing fits the bleeder on the slave for the process.) Thanx Goodwin for perfect replacement parts, delivered in timely fashion.

Great OEM replacement at an even better price. Easy install.

This is a good quality product, and it installed without any issues. I installed this along with a slave for the clutch, and a braided stainless steel line to replace the old rubber line. Clutch feels strong and back to normal again.
This is good insurance for a very low cost.
