Blackbird Fabworx Front Tow Hook

New product from Blackbird Fabworx, a front tow hook designed to work for both race Miatas with "EP style" airdams, and with original bumpers alike!

Price is for ONE tow hook.

Many tow hooks sit too far back, so that the cable from a tow truck will likely damage the bumper when you consider the range of motion of the cable at that pivot point. This simple yet effective bracket design takes the point where a tow strap will need to pivot and pushes it forward as much as possible so that your bumper remains undamaged if you need a tow.
For "production style" race airdams, this places the pivot point JUST behind the airdam surface so that you only need to cut a small/narrow slit in the airdam for the strap to extend through.

The strap itself is a quality unit made by Sparco, the Bracket it attaches to is finished with high quality Gunmetal powder coat which is almost too pretty to be placed behind the bumper and the hardware is Grade 8 with an all metal lock nut so the thing will not rattle loose.
The tow hook mounts to the passenger side only and uses the factory mounting location and hardware, simply pull out the factory tow hook (if you haven't done it yet) and install the new hook reusing the factory hardware.
