Racing Beat Sway Bar End Link Set for all 2006-2015 MX-5 and 2004-2011 RX-8 REAR sway bar applications.
Racing Beat has taken the design of the ball joint style link and taken it to the next level by producing an end link set that provides an excellent balance of handling feedback, comfort, performance, durability and appearance.
The unique end link housing is like none other on the market today. Designed by Racing Beat founder Jim Mederer, the end link housings are now shaped using a strong forged-aluminum production process and then CNC-machined to it's unique finished shape. An upgraded 10MM ball-joint unit is pressed into place and further protected by a durable rubber cover. Racing Beat custom orders their own range of end link studs, each designed specially for it's intended vehicle application. Easily assembled and adjusted, these end links have been street and track tested for decades with excellent results.
A quick side-by-side comparison with a Racing Beat link and another aftermarket link will quickly reveal the sleek design of the Racing Beat end link as compared with the competing unit. The average weight of a Racing Beat link is approximately a mere 8 ounces - no bulky, extra-weight hex adjustment sleeve is needed on this design.
Vehicle Specific Application:
These sway bar end links are direct replacements for the stock Mazda FRONT end links. The Racing Beat sway bar end link set is easily adjustable and can be used on both standard height and lowered vehicles. Can be installed and adjusted using only simple hand tools.
Adjustment Range:
99mm - 89mm (10mm range = approx .375")
This link set uses a 55mm long stud - this is Racing Beat's shortest end link stud.
On-chassis Length Adjustments:
On occasion we'll receive a question asking why Racing Beat links are not adjustable without removing one of the link ends. Feedback that we've received over the years and supported by the 1000's of end link sets that we sold over the past 30 years, supports our thinking that this just isn't a critical consideration for the vast number of Miata owners. However, making length adjustments with the Racing Beat end links is simple and secure, just loosen the jam nuts, remove one retaining bolt, rotate the link housing, and bolt everything back together. Simple.
For the Rear Sway Bar only. Price gets you the pair.
Application Notes: Good for stock ride height or slightly lowered (about 1" lower). But if lowered more than that then you need a shorter rear endlink than these are able to adjust down to. Look to our RoadsterSport endlinks which can go about 10mm shorter.

These endlinks are high quality and I'm sure would work well as stock replacements. I made the mistake of installing these with Progress springs and Koni Sport shocks. The guidance was that these would be fine with minor lowering, but I guess this spring/shock combo drops the car too much for these end links, Even at their shortest, the swaybar is not parallel to the ground when car is sitting on the ground, and I'm getting contact between the end of the bar and the rear subframes when I hit big dips. I just ordered the Roadstersport links which adjust shorter and hopefully resolve this problem. If installing Progress/Koni Sport, don't try these links.
