DESCRIPTION

We developed our Sport lowering springs and rear sway bar upgrade for the Maverick together, and for maximum handling performance you want both! Buy them together here and get a discount. This is the setup for drivers that really want their Maverick to be a fun Sports Truck that can handle the turns and turn-in to the corner like a sports car.

Fits every 2022+ Ford Maverick AWD model, NOT front wheel drive models. Confirmed to fit both gas-only and hybrid versions as long as the truck is an AWD.

Developed in the Good-Win Racing Maverick, a truck that really hauls around turns!

Goodwin Racing Sport Springs

Developed and tested and produced here in the USA in cooperation with our friends at Progress Technology.
Similar spring rates as the Eibach springs which we tested in our project truck, but we saw room for improvement in the design. The Eibach springs have a lot of dead coils, resulting in a heavy and harsh riding spring. In brief, we expect Eibach customers in harsh environments will eventually have noise as sand and other debris in the tall dead coil stack wears through the coating on the metal in the springs. These springs are better designed with less dead coils under load. The result is a lighter weight spring, which means lower unsprung weight with minimal coil contact potential, which is easier on the coating than the design on the Eibach springs. Moreover, these springs are double coated for the best resistance to corrosion in the industry.
One year limited warranty

Front Spring Rate 175 lbs, Rear Spring Rate 400 lbs (stock is only 148 Front and 338 rear).

Ride Height change:
Front: -2", Rear: -2.6". Resulting ride height is about 17.8 inches front from center of wheel up to fender lip, and 18.25 rear.

Goodwin Racing Rear Sway Bar

The Stiffest Maverick Rear Sway Bar Upgrade!
Works perfectly in conjunction with our lowering springs, maintains ride comfort while adding much more flat cornering confidence!

Anti-roll bars dramatically improve handling. How? They minimize the traction-robbing body "lean" that rolls part of the outside tires off the pavement. Our Sport-tuned anti-roll sway bar replaces the skinny OEM rear sway bar and rubber bushings with a larger diameter (stiffer) alloy steel bar and polyurethane bushings.

More roll stiffness means less body "lean", and the tires stay flatter on the pavement (larger contact patches). The result is more grip and added driver control!
-Less body roll means more traction, faster cornering speeds, and increased driver confidence.
-Polyurethane bushings produce crisp response on turn-in. Made here in the USA for us by our friends at Progress Technology. These bars are cold-formed in-house using custom-built precision bending equipment. Laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit that is more durable than alternatives used by some other choices.

Features:
-Size: 1 Inch SOLID (Competing tubular 1 inch bars are much softer rate)
-Adjustment Range: 3 holes per side, spring rates 382, 490 and 610 lbs!.
-All sway bars are powdercoated metallic gray.
-One year limited warranty

Stock rear bar is only 270 lbs per inch, GWR Sway Bar 1 inch SOLID BAR UPGRADE with three settings is well above anything that anyone else will make, our three positions on this bar give you spring rates 382, 490 and 610 lbs!

Brian's Notes:
First Freeway 270 degree ramp with this was pure love, truck is so much more flat in the turn instead of understeering plow as the stock suspension will as you approach the limit.

BRIAN's NOTES: Adding our rear sway bar upgrade for the full handling package we use on our own Maverick gets you a truck that you can actually push on canyon roads and freeway onramps. We use our truck as a truck, with full bed loads often and towing our track toys. For those reasons we design a bit of rake in our setup intentionally along with MORE rear spring rate, so it is still as useful as a truck with bed loads and towing.

The 2025 LOBO lowered with our Springs!

Factory LOBO rake is 1 inch, our springs reduce it to half inch, much more level than stock LOBO. Factory LOBO springs lower just half inch front and 1.5 inches rear. Our springs drop more than another inch at front for Lobo, and almost another 1.5 inches at the rear. I was not a big fan of the LOBO wheels on delivery, but they look a lot better when the truck is lowered more! And just for more picture fun, below is our LOBO lowered with our springs and with our KONIG wheels added.

We ended up -1.7 to -1.9 on camber all around. Since we do actually plan to autocross this truck for giggles we would take even more camber. Thus, we may install our EZ Cam Front Camber Correction Bolts and move the front to -2.5. Around town we drive hard enough in the turns that this level of camber did not give us tire wear issues on our 2022 Maverick with same springs. If you do a lot of freeway straight driving you might want to use the EZ Cam Front Camber Correction Bolts on the same product page as the springs, and our SPC Adjustable Rear Camber Arms, to get down to something more like -1.2 to -1.4 all around. The ideal camber numbers just depends on YOUR personal mix of driving, the more straight boring highway work you do, the more you want to dial that camber back down a bit.

Final picture below is our LOBO on our springs with our rear sway and our KONIG 18x8.5 wide wheels which dropped unsprung weight by MORE THAN 10 POUNDS per corner, with result ride is actually better than when we picked up our LOBO brand new from the Ford dealer.

We made our springs to work with the factory Ford shocks that started with the 2022 year Maverick. But if adding our springs to a Maverick already beyond 40,000 miles, consider a fresh set of shocks and the Ford factory LOBO shocks are a great upgrade that work even better with our springs because these were valved for the LOBO springs that are even closer to the rates of our springs. The full set of LOBO shocks at the dealer is about $500, part numbers below:

SZ6Z-18124-E - Front Right Strut
