Hard Dog ACE Roll Bar

DESCRIPTION

The Ace is Hard Dog's response to popular demand for a traditional Miata roll bar designed with more rearward placement for better head clearance that doesn't interfere with the stock seat belts. The Ace integrates with the unibody framework inside the rear wheel wells and is braced sideways to the seat belt towers creating a structure stronger than the individual component parts.
The flexibility of the Ace design allows many configuration options to include: one or two diagonals, harness bar and side or top main hoop rear bracing. The diagonals and / or harness bar can be located in the main hoop or between the rearward braces. Or if you prefer, no diagonal or harness bar at all.

Note: Due to the more rearward placement between the NA and NB seat belt towers, the Ace is 9" narrower than the M1 and M2 roll bar models. A safety consideration for taller drivers.

NASA HPDE and SCCA Time Trials / Solo compliant when equipped with diagonal bracing.

Fits all Miatas 1990-2005. Compatible with hard tops and plastic rear window soft tops.
Version with no diagonals and versions with diagonals in the main hoop is compatible with aftermarket or OEM glass rear window convertible tops (assuming aftermarket glass window approximates size and shape of OEM window glass windows). Versions with diagonals in the rear legs is NOT compatible with glass rear window.

Optional Harness Bar: No matter what you select for placement of the diagonals, the optional welded in harness bar will always be placed in between the rear braces.

The Ace is NOT compatible with Hard Dog's separate Bolt-In Harness Bar. If you want a harness bar, make sure you order your bar with that option included here!

The Ace Miata Roll Bar integrates with the unibody framework inside the rear wheel wells and seat belt towers creating a structure stronger than the individual component parts using much the same mounting system as the Hard Dog Deuce.
