DESCRIPTION
Fits MAZDA MZR / FORD DURATEC VVT: 2.0L (LF-DE, LF-VE, LF-VD), 2.3L (L3-VE, L3-NS, L3-DE) and 2.5L (L5-VE)
Brian Crower Stage 2 cams are a "Street/Strip Specification". Plug and play. Short duration for nice street manners, slight lope at idle. Excellent all purpose spec. OEM springs OK. ECU tuning recommended for best performance, but not required.
Stage 2 cam specs:
- Adv. Dur. 272 /264
- Dur @ .050 220 /216
- Lift .400"/.375" (10.16mm/9.52mm)
For comparison, factory NC 2.0L cam specs:
- Adv. Dur. 256 /256
- Dur @ .050 205 /190
- Lift .371"/.320" (9.42mm/8.13mm)

Brian Crower Stage 2 Camshafts for NC
These definitely feel great in my car. I was having a crate 2.5L swapped into my car and thought it would be stupid not to do better cams and the 1.8 header from Goodwin Racing. My car is 189 on a dyno. The engine is rated 187 at the crank. Assuming 15-20% loss until the power drives the wheels, that equals 15-20% more power. The car feels quick and actually pushes you back in your seat a bit.
I just bought the Kraftwerks kit from GWR and can't wait to feel the difference.
Five stars. Plus, you can hear the meat of the cam through the exhaust.
