DESCRIPTION
For those buying new wheels whose cars come Tire Pressure Monitors, these are a great high quality TPMS sensor at a fraction of the price of factory Mazda sensors.
Price for full set of FOUR sensors.
These are pre-programmed for Mazda's frequency, so you don't have to get these programmed by a dealer or do anything special to get them to work. Just have your tire shop install them when they mount the tires, and then follow the TPMS reset procedure described further down.
These sensors work in the following applications:
- 2006-2015 MX5
- 2018-2021 MX5
- 2017-2021 Fiat 124
- 2003-2013 RX8
NOT NEEDED for 2016-2017 MX5, as those years calculate tire pressure based on wheel speed and do not use actual TPMS sensors in the wheels. These do NOT work on ND Miata years 2022-2024!
These sensors have a slimmer profile than the factory sensors as well, so they fit ALL of the wheels we sell, including some wheels that the factory sensors do not, like the Advanti Racing Storm S1 for ND2.
Schrader is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of sensing technologies. While these are not Mazda factory sensors, they are just as high quality as the factory stuff. NOT like the cheap knockoff sensors that can be hard to get working, finicky, and die after just a short time.
RESET PROCEDURE:
1. Inflate all tires to pressure indicated on tire placard (inside your driver's door).
2. Turn ignition to ON, then to OFF.
3. Wait 15 minutes.
4. Drive vehicle above 12mph for several minutes.
5. Sensor IDs will then register automatically.

Schrader Tire Pressure Sensors
Zero issues. Zero drama. Zero TPMS lights after wheel change. My installer asked if the new valves were calibrated. I said yep. I was right. Easier than easy and priced significantly better than OEM.
I decide to upgrade to new17" lightweight wheels with ultra high performance all season tires and got a set of these schraders instead of OEM sensors to hold down costs. Tire company who installed my tires on the rims insisted I'd need to bring the car back so they could program the sensors once I installed the new setup on the car. Nope. All is good. The product works as advertised here on GWR. No fuss, no muss. Back to zipping around the country roads and enjoying the car. No extra hassles required.
Well made... worked perfectly... sensors synced immediately!
I used these on my Advanti Racing Storm S1 4X100, ET40 - Matte Black. I did not have any issues, following the directions, the car recognized the sensors and away I went.
The car picked up the sensors quickly after following the procedure listed in the description. I was worried the color would clash with the bronze color of the Konig wheels, but they are barely noticeable.
Work great on the new wheels! No bothersome warning lights. Plug and play.
