DESCRIPTION

The Stiffest Maverick Rear Sway Bar Upgrade! Fits AWD Maverick and AWD Bronco Sport and all 2020+ Ford Escape. Confirmed to fit both gas-only and hybrid versions of the Maverick as long as the truck is an AWD. NOT front wheel drive models.

Works with stock springs and with our lowering springs, maintains ride comfort while adding much more flat cornering confidence!

Anti-roll bars dramatically improve handling. How? They minimize the traction-robbing body "lean" that rolls part of the outside tires off the pavement. Our Sport-tuned anti-roll sway bar replaces the skinny OEM rear sway bar and rubber bushings with a larger diameter (stiffer) alloy steel bar and polyurethane bushings.

More roll stiffness means less body "lean", and the tires stay flatter on the pavement (larger contact patches). The result is more grip and added driver control!
-Less body roll means more traction, faster cornering speeds, and increased driver confidence.
-Polyurethane bushings produce crisp response on turn-in. Made here in the USA for us by our friends at Progress Technology. These bars are cold-formed in-house using custom-built precision bending equipment. Laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit that is more durable than alternatives used by some other choices.

Brian's Notes: First Freeway 270 degree ramp with this was pure love, truck is so much more flat in the turn instead of understeering plow as the stock suspension will as you approach the limit.

A decade ago we did a special order from factory of a Dakota shop truck as a "SPORT" version with upgraded rear sway to get decent balance in that machine, Ford won't do that sort of customization so here we are doing it ourselves to get a more sporty driving Maverick.

Stock rear bar is only 270 lbs per inch, GWR Sway Bar 1 inch SOLID BAR UPGRADE with three settings is well above anything that anyone else will make, our three positions on this bar give you spring rates 382, 490 and 610 lbs! This is the bar for drivers that really want their Maverick to be a fun Sports Truck that can handle the turns and turn-in to the corner like a sports car.

AUTOCROSS TESTING! Nobody else does this to test their springs and sways for Maverick, certainly not Eibach or H&R. SCCA Autocross event in the rain with our Springs in our 2025 LOBO, with our upgraded rear sway bar set to full stiff, and a performance alignment. Note we use our EZ CAM Front Camber 'Correction' bolts to actually dial MORE camber instead of less, we did -2.5 at front. Fun to slide a truck around in the rain and crush the dreams of various sports cars. When a truck finishes on the podium in front of a Porsche Cayman, it's a good day of fun...and not your average Maverick!

Good-Win Racing Ford Maverick REAR Sway Bar Upgrade!

I installed the Goodwin Racing rear sway bar on my Ford Maverick 2.0 EcoBoost, paired with the Goodwin springs I already had on the truck, and the improvement in handling was immediate and very noticeable. The Maverick now feels significantly more planted, especially in corners and quick lane changes. Body roll is greatly reduced, and the truck holds its line with much more confidence both in city driving and at highway speeds. The steering response feels sharper and more controlled without making the ride harsh or uncomfortable.

The installation was straightforward. I made sure to torque the endlinks with the weight of the vehicle on the ground to avoid pre-load, and the result was perfect. no clunks, no pops, no noises of any kind. The bar sits centered, the bushings fit properly, and everything feels solid. The quality of the materials and the fitment reflect the level of engineering behind this product.

This sway bar complements the Goodwin springs extremely well. Together, they deliver a true OEM+ driving experience: firmer, more stable, more predictable, and simply more enjoyable. The truck feels like it should have come this way from the factory. If you're looking for a real improvement in stability, cornering confidence, and overall driving feel without sacrificing daily comfort, this sway bar is one of the best upgrades you can make to the Maverick. Highly recommended.

Kids bought Goodwin Maverick sway bar for my birthday. My son and I installed it (mostly him) and the removal and replacement was really quite easy. Put rear tires on ramps, jacked up passenger side off ramp, removed wheel and after removing OEM swaybar hardware, corkscrewed OEM bar out and Goodwin bar in. Hardest part was getting passenger side heat shield for sway bar bushing to fit. The new mounting brackets have gussets on them for added strength and the heat shield needed to have slots ground out to fit properly onto the mounting studs. Not a big deal, just another step. Once done the bushing heat shield fit great and the bar fits perfectly. Build quality of the swaybar is impressive (and heavy) as is the mounting hardware. Finished off in a nice gray paint job. I have the end links mounted to the softest position and the bar does a great job of keeping the truck much flatter and more stable overall then OEM bar. The truck corners much flatter and no longer has a tendency to nose dive when braking as it did in stock form. My truck is an FX4, dont really know if that makes a difference overall, but anyone would benefit from adding this to their vehicle. Overall it just makes the little truck more fun to drive, safer, more sure footed, and a hell of a lot better in corners, off ramps and spirited driving without adding any harshness or noise to the ride. GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT QUAILTY. A worthy addition to my vehicle. Will likely move to middle adjustment just to try it but for now I will enjoy the softest setup.

I just received my rear sway bar for our new 2024 Escape AWD Hybrid. The install was straightforward as I had removed one from our 2022 Escape AWD 1.5L 3 cylinder lease vehicle and replaced the bushings with Energy Suspension urethane bushings, so I did remember the twist/turn r & r procedure.

I have the Good-Win bar adjusted to the middle setting and am very pleased with the way the vehicle rides and handles. It is perfectly made, fits with precision, and makes the vehicle even more of a pleasure to drive.

For those who do not know, the OEM rear sway bar bushings are fused to the bar itself making separate bushing replacement difficult. What this does is greatly influence the ride at the rear of the vehicle since the up/down motion is not allowed freedom of movement. I think this is done to keep the bar centrally located in the vehicle. The Good-Win bar has stops welded to the bar itself in the correct location to keep the bar's position in check.

I had a different aftermarket bar that was hollow. It was great until it cracked in half. I got rid of the hollow bar and replaced it with this one.
The Goodwin bar is solid.
Much better!
