All of the WINDRESTRICTOR wind deflectors we offer can remain in place with the roof closed and are mounted solid yet inconspicuously without any permanent alterations to your roadster.These are 3/8" thick making it the strongest on the market. Comes with a strong, steel bracket system. It's taller than the plastic windblockers and blocks additional wind turbulence. Lifetime Warranty.

NC WindRestrictor Clear
Just ordered and received this and it looks so much better than the factory one. Super easy to install and it literally took about 10 minutes.
The is an excellent product. It was easy to install and looks great. The plexiglass is very clear and so much more attractive than the factory wind deflector. The Windrestrictor is taller than the factory wind deflector, but the power retractable hardtop has no problem opening with the Windrestrictor.
Very nice product! I was surprised at how heavy and thick it was. Despite it being a little taller than the OEM blocker, I don't feel much difference as far as air flow. Installation was simple and very well thought out. I think it certainly adds a nice classy upscale look with no negative effects on function nor on visibility.
I'm convinced this is the finest wind blocker product available. I had a Porsche Boxster with a factory one and it couldn't begin to compete with a WindRestrictor. The product is quality and in my opinion serves to make the entire car look a bit classier. The Lexan, or whatever brand it is, is nice and thick and does not vibrate at any speed. The screen's transparency is flawless. The base is powder coated metal and is solid. The device is simple to install and takes only a couple minutes to do. No drilling or cutting is involved. I avoided the engraving and am glad I did as it would have reduced visibilty in the rearview mirror. The illuminated effect is just not my personal style, but that's a matter of taste. Now if I could just convince WindRestrictor to make those beautiful door sills of theirs for an MX-5!
