11.75" BBK Rotor Upgrade Kit

DESCRIPTION

This is an upgrade kit for those who ALREADY have an 11" Big Brake Kit using a Wilwood caliper. Upgrades you to an 11.75" rotor - the largest size you can fit under a 15" wheel for even more bite and heat capacity. We run these rotors on all our turbo, supercharged, and engine swapped NA/NB Miatas here.

Kit includes 11.75" rotor rings, V8R FEA-tested rotor hats, and CNC machined aluminum brackets to place the Wilwood caliper over the larger rotor. All hardware is included.

Dynalite 4 piston
Dynapro 4 piston
Dynapro 6 piston

ROTOR OPTIONS

Wilwood 32 straight vane Ultralight rotor - straight vane design, great for the average street user that wants BIG stopping power but doesn't need the massive heat resistance or durability of our other rotor options. These are also the lightest of the three rotor options; good for those competing in autocross who are counting every ounce and who don't mind replacing rotors more often than the heavier duty options. As a bonus, these cost less than $40 per rotor to replace!

StopTech pillar vane rotor - engineered to provide superior strength while reducing rotor weight and running cooler compared to simple straight vane rotors. The diamond shaped pillars provide brake pad surface stability as well as reduced rotating weight over rotors of similar strength. Airflow is also improved over straight vane rotors, allowing quick heat dissipation that results in greatly reduced fade. We recommend these rotors for those who want a high quality rotor for their street performance build or who are doing occasional track days or similar where the added cooling and durability set these rotors far ahead of the basic Wilwood rotors.

Performance Friction curved vane rotor - directional cooling vanes and the highest quality motorsport grade iron composition. The directional internal vanes work on the same principal as an air-impeller, designed to extract hot air. As the disc rotor rotates, it pumps air from the center outwards. The PFC rotors also use the highest quality iron and manufacturing processes. The bottom line is that these rotors usually last our track users four or more times longer than the Wilwood rotors (thus, the greater entry cost is paid back in rotor replacement savings with many of our track customers reporting YEARS of track use on one set of these rotors.).

Install notes:
The upgrade is a breeze, no need to disconnect brake lines - just unbolt the caliper via two bolts, swap rotors and brackets, and bolt the caliper back on. No brake fluid bleeding.
