Konig Ampliform 17x8 5X114 ET40 Dark Metallic Graphite

I purchased these for my daughter, who's been auto-crossing with me, and in March, will be joining me for her first track day at Atlanta Motorsports Park. Rather than replacing good tires on her stock wheels, we decided to go with a wider wheel, to accommodate more tire. The paint on these wheels is gorgeous and they look phenomenal on Copper Mica. We mounted some 225/45 Falken RT660s on the wheels and they rubbed pretty bad in the rear, but with a little fender rolling, the wheel/tire package fits and functions very well.

Once again Good-win comes through with the goods! They wheels arrived way ahead of when expected, beautifully packed in perfect condition. I also purchased hubcentric rings, they really do make tire changes easier. Also the best price anywhere on this wheel on the web! I have been looking for a reasonably priced lightweight wheel that I could use for my street setup. I have Enkei PF01s 17x9 for track and autocross in black. I really wanted to try something other than black on my liquid silver car. The dark metallic graphite really caught my eye. Brian was very helpful answering my questions: Can I put my worn track tires 245/40/17 on the these 17x8s? Yep! Just a bit slower turn in than on the 17x9s, totally fine for canyon runs, tested thoroughly tested this AM chasing sport bikes. Can I run Conti ECS in 225/45/17? Yep! Will a big brake kit clear this wheel? Yep! I already had a fender roll, so no rubbing with 245/40/17 on the new wheels.

The appearance and finish on the wheels is stunning! The dark metallic goes beautifully with the metallic color of my car. One fun visual, they look like 18s or 19s on the car to me. It is just an optical allusion, but a nice one. I have had lots of compliments on these beautiful wheels already. I am going to hate taking them off for a track day! I continue to buy from Good-win, because not only do they carry great products, they have a deep knowledge base on their products and are willing answer any questions to help with decision making.

First off Goodwin Racing provided excellent customer service, fast shipping and a great price what more could you ask for. I installed these wheels on my 2012 MX-5 PRHT GT fit and finish is excellent. I definitely recommend aluminum hub centric bore spacers. I have Koni Sport yellow shocks with FM springs and 215/45/17 tires. In the rear with my camber set at -1.8 I need a slight fender roll since the offset on these wheels is +40mm. These wheels sit perfect with the body of the car. The color "pops" in the sunlight. This is my first set of Konig wheels and I could not be happier. Thanks again Goodwin!
