No more sheared rear hubs! Ultimate peace of mind!
OEM 4x100 bolt pattern.

This is not a modified OEM hub for another application. V8R forged rear hubs are engineered with similar futures as their stage 2 and stage 3 driveline kits for V8 swaps that have withstood 800+whp and extreme lateral loads seen in LSx track cars for years. Now all that has been learned has been applied to these new rear hubs designed to work with stock Miata spline axles!

The hubs are forged and final machined from 1045 steel starting as an 18lb billet. The wheel mating flange is 30% thicker than OEM and the inner radii of the hub have been increased by over .500". The hubs are finished in a black oxide coating to help extend service life and provide corrosion protection. Designed to take the abuse of the largest wheel and tire sizes available, and for today's fastest track cars. Also compatible with V8R's PnP stage 1 Miata axles in cases of extreme horsepower beyond the limits of the factory axles.

Includes ARP extended studs - these are not pre-installed, you must press them in.

INSTALLATION:
Hubs are shipped with a light coating of oil to prevent suface rust after machining and treated with a black oxide coating to help prevent rust. Remove the oil before pressing the hub into the wheel bearing using WD-40 and a cloth.
Axle nuts should be torqued to 225 ft-lbs. Nut torque should be checked after first outing, and then again after 100 miles or two track sessions.

Typically when you press the rear hub out of the spindle/bearing, the old bearing does not survive that process and needs to be replaced when installing your new rear hubs. We sell high quality Centric rear wheel bearings separately on this site, part number 61-2534.
