The most aggressive member of the Hawk DTC (Dynamic Torque Control) family, the DTC-70 compound offers extremely high torque with aggressive controllable initial bite. It has superior release and torque control characteristics. This compound is designed for cars with high deceleration rates with or without down force.
The DTC-70 is a track/race pad that operates from 350-1,650 degrees F. Friction levels are very high - over 0.80! This means excellent stopping power, while still being easy to modulate thanks to the DTC compound.
Customers using their NCs for sprint races, time trials, etc. have had great success with DTC-70 front and DTC-60 rear.
Note that this pad does not develop much bite/friction when cold. Not recommended for street.
